I have recently spent a great deal of time interviewing people for a wide range of jobs. The first thing I know about any of these people is their written job application. So often it is this that lets them down. As a result of this they dont even get an interview. Possibly at an interview they may give a good impression - but if you receive 30 -40 applications you can not interview them all. So poorly written letters/CV's are the first to go. ...
