...improvement in the graphics department. Microsoft really does seem to have gone all out to give Sony and Nintendo a run for their money. I know a lot of it will depend on the actual game but over all it looks very realistic.
In Gears of War the chainsaw looks like it's chopping through the baddie's head, there is blood squirting out everywhere, severed hands being kicked about on the floor during the course of the fight between good and evil, it's ...

...however was excellent. I think Microsoft took a leave out of Apple's book. It was packaged and designed I think anyway, with white and visually beautiful aesthetics and packaging. It looks a very professional package, which should be the case given the cost of this unit.
The Package

-Console
-Mini remote
-HUGE power adapter
-Live headset
-Wireless controller

God In A Box Review ofMicrosoft Xbox 360by

Advantages: Can almost take over from your PC Disadvantages: power brick, noise
...much what the steve's at Microsoft have done is shrunk an extremely high end PC into a box that can fit neatly into any existing set up. Each piece of hardware just about is custom made for the Xbox which is where it differs from the Playstation 3 but that's another story. It is essentially a customised IBM Power PC which boasts an unbelievable 3 x 3.2GHz all three offering 2 hard ware threads, which to compare for you, my PC has just one 2.4GHz processor, ...

...- however i guess microsoft use this money to improve their services, since they such a honest company- :P NOT- PS3 has live which is FREE!!!!
- A very short Ethernet cable- annoying since if your internet connection is away from the room you put your Xbox in you'll have to get a extension or the Xbox wireless card- roughly £60 - how expensive :( - thats the advantage of the PS3. A built in wireless adaptor and its FREE online.
- HD AV Cable

...games are more sophisticated now Microsoft still recognise we still go for the high score and proved this with the success of the gamer card, so you will need to setup your Xbox Live,
Now you have 2 options, Live silver or gold, silver is free and allows access to your gamer score, some downloads and a few other online features, Gold is 34.99 a year and allows full access to everything online including multiplayer gaming in my opinion it's well ...

...purchase a 360 once the Microsoft 360 demonstration booths began to appear in local stores, and I could see first hand what all the hype had been about. Impressed, I sold a rare guitar I owned, and sat in the comfort of my own home wading through eBay listings until I found a realistically priced 'Buy it now' auction that had literally just been placed online.
Two days after launch, and exactly 24 hours after I had placed my eBay bid, I received ...

The great thing about the 360 is the fact you just plug it in and it's ready to go. To many the Xbox 360 will just look like another games console but if you like games and enjoy that bit of escapism ...

Advantages: Next-Gen console, never before seen graphics, outstanding gameplay. Disadvantages: Early versions had minor faults, some bugs found in certain games.
Microsoft wanted to make sure this time around that they didn't loose out to Sony in the race for being the best developers of next-gen consoles. As a result they released the Xbox 360 about a year ago, and although early stock was limited, and the stock that was available had some minor faults, it has only gone from strength to strength ever since.
With the Sony PS3 now put back to a March 2007 European release date, this Christmas Microsoft look ...

...no news yet If the Microsoft will release a 120 GB hard drive upgrade, In my opinion they should, but it's unlikely to happen for a while , since Microsoft would want people to buy the Elite Console rather than simply upgrade your premium.
To enable your Xbox 360 to access the internet wirelessly will set you back another £60.
That’s a hefty price when you consider that 54Mbps wireless card for a PC would be about £20 or less.
A 64MB memory ...

Advantages: Fantastic graphics, comfortable and solid controler, excellent online features Disadvantages: Noisy, expensive games, hard disk could be bigger, wireless is a battery hog!
Microsoft worked hard to crack the video games market with it's original XBOX, but never quite made it. Over 20 million were sold, but it was big and expensive for them to make. With Sony's impending Playstation sequel, Microsoft had to act fast.
In brief, the XBOX was essentially a Custom designed PC with a fast graphics system, whereas the 360 was designed from the ground up with games in mind.
From the custom CPU to the custom graphics chip, ...
