I have Xbox Live and its very good, yes you do need to pay £40 a year to go online but i think its well worth it as Xbox Live is the greatest multiplayer system out today its truly awesome. After owning a 360 for about 4 months as well as now owning 7 games I can pretty much some up some details about it that I like and dislike. The Xbox 360 console is built for someone who wants to play games 'proffessionally'. The console is easy to connect to the interent and gives you a worldwide profile to place yourself in a rankings system using your 'gamerscore' (points are awarded for doing certain things within games). Great value for money and now Microsoft have acknowledged the hardward fault the console comes with an extenede 3 year warranty for complete peace of mind.

Believed the hype, bought the core console with wired controller. Pulled the console out of it's box - great looking stylish console. My first reality check - there seemed to be a very large black brick in the box also - turns out this is the power supply. This could surely have been made internal to the console !
