...with friends from one console/offline, Microsoft and game developers seem to prefer to only offer multiplayer gaming through XBOX live. I find this frustrating that, to play a 2-4 multiplayer game I need to be online playing with people from across the world to experience it. I love my 360. It is everything i hoped for and was expecting, especially when it costs so much. Had a 360 for 2 months now, love it.Upon first lifting up the system, I realized quickly that this thing is heavy! It is certainly packed though, so I will forgive it for being overweight. I want to be clear from the start, I do not like the Sony PS3. My sister has one so I know it is overpriced, ugly, big, heavy, complicated and has no good games. My xbox 360 was brilliant. This is going to be a summary review. Let me start off by saying that the Xbox 360 is an ok piece of machinery and has a lot of potential. The biggest downer about the 360 is this - the range of games available is very restricted and has little variation. ...quite common and I believe microsoft are sorting it out. From what the guy in the store in GAME UK told me, he said that they should have new consoles out by January that won't have this problem. As far a consoles go this is the top of the pile for so many different aspects. Firstly, the graphics are out of this world as standard but especially on the HDMI settings. If you want great graphics, 5.1 sound and games which approach the PC in terms of sheer graphical excellence then the XBOX 360 is the way to go. Not all of us can afford great gaming PC's ( Quad core extreme £600+ Nvidia 8800 GTX Graphic cards in SLI £750+) So if you want a gaming experience approaching that of a £1500 PC get one of these, you wont be disapointed. i have had this console of over a year now and i have had no problems and it is one of the best ways for me personally to relieve stress after a long day. This is what i would call a all round console taht everyone can use unlike the wii you can play games by yourself without it being boring. the only thing that this console lacks is wi-fi included but you can buy the adaptor for quite a bit more money !
