Advantages helps you lose weight, good support programme
Disadvantages nasty side effects!!!!!!!!!

Personal update: Since being on the Xenical it has helped me to lose another stone since restarting it in December. The side-effects still occur if i eat the wrong thing, but generally speaking it is worth it and i am losing weight safely and slowly and eating healthily as well. I would still recommend Xenical. Advantages Steady, safe weight loss. No side effects if used properly.
Disadvantages Loose stools and wind (but only if you don't follow the advice given).

I started using xenical in September 2005, and I have been taking it ever since. In that time I have lost about 3.5 stone (50lbs or 23kg). But taking it has required something of a change in lifestyle. Xenical works by inhibiting the lipase in your digestive system, so that 30% of the fat in your meal is not absorbed into your body (it therefore goes straight through you, hence the potential side effects). Advantages it works if it is used CORRECTLY!!!
Disadvantages do not use if you are likely to binge eat or not follow a healthy diet.

It wasn’t until I got into my early twenties that I noticed my previously svelte figure was rapidly becoming thicker. Prior to this, I was a healthy active girl, lots of dancing kept me fit and I could eat what I liked because of it. As soon as I started University, it all changed. Advantages IT REALLY WORKS!
Disadvantages prescription only drug, need to keep visiting the doctor every month

Disadvantages None, once you get the side-effects under control.

There is no doubt that users of Xenical have experienced mixed results. It is my opinion that those who don't experience success with it, are not following the guidelines properly. There are no shortcuts - and if you're experiencing side effects (other than in your first few days) then you're doing it wrong. Personally, I lost 21 lb in my first four weeks and have now lost two and a half stones - and I'm still working on it! Xenical is available from Boots the Chemist, but at an exorbitant price. Advantages It is usually a successful way of losing weight
Disadvantages It requires a lot of self control unless you want to suffer the consequences!

During the past 10 years I have put on a considerable amount of weight and my dress size has slowly crept up from a Size 16 to a size 20/22. Several things have contributed to this, firstly I had my son back in 1994 and put on weight which I never lost, (largely due to eating junk foods thinking that as I was going to get fat anyway it wouldn't matter - little did I know at that time just how much it would matter). After having 5 children in 7 years the weight just kept being put on. At the age of 17 I was 8 stone then I got pregnant one after another and by the time I was 24 I was 17 stone in weight. I was so unhappy, it got me depressed as I kept trying everything to get rid of all the extra weight I had put on but nothing would work. I've tried every diet and tablet in the book and have been reading about Xenical for months on the net. Trouble was, I couldn't find anywhere outside the USA to buy them. Then, out of the blue (I never read newspapers, especially locals) I saw an advert in the local paper for a slimming clinic near to me that was selling it without prescription. Wow!
