Advantages: Works really well if used correctly. Disadvantages: Price.
I have always been quite lucky in having clear skin on my face. Unfortunately it would seem the bags under my eyes more that make up for this. Throughout the years I have tried everything to try and reduce there appearance. This ranges from making sure I have the right amount of sleep, to drinking plenty of water and using specialist creams. It seemed that nothing would shift the almost industrial sized black bags under my eyes.
Trawling through ... ...an advertisement for YSL Touché Éclat (Radiant Touch) I had heard many good things about this product both on TV and in Magazines and was quite keen to give it a try, however at £21 I wanted to test it first to see if the claims of banishing shadows and signs of fatigue were true. It had happened that a friend of mine was already using the product and swore by so I decided to try some of hers. My friend applied this to my Dark Circles and I was really ...

...need and that is my Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch to us plebs!). It claims to "add highlight, refresh your make-up and brighten your complexion" as well as offsetting the complexion's dulling tendencies and creating a natural glow".
This fabulous product is renowned among beauty experts everywhere as being the best concealer around. It originally came in just one shade to (supposedly) suit everyone's skin tone, doing away with all ... ...recently YSL have added a darker shade (3) designed to suit Asian skin tones and a pale one for the pasty English Roses (1). I was initially sceptical that just 3 shades could really suit everyone, but my skin tone is olive and this blends in equally well with my skin as it does with my paler friends.
The product comes in a very stylish gold pen style applicator containing 2.5ml of concealer. It was one of the first 'pen style' applicators and the ...

...an opinion by Miss-D on Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat and I hoped my prayers had been answered.
The product does not claim to reduce eye bags or dark colours, but instead hides the darkness by covering it up with a light reflecting liquid. Apparently this wonder product, recommended by many celebrities and beauty magazines, is only available at Harrods and Debenhams. Fortunately I have a local Debenhams, so I decided to visit one lunchtime. Unfortunately, ... ...you, go and visit the Yves Saint Laurent counter and get a free application. UPDATE: I do believe it is working! I didn't apply and Touche Eclat today as it was Sunday and I wasn't expecting to see anyone. My partner looked at me funnily and asked me if I was OK as I looked as if I had a black eye. This was the first day I hadn't worn it since buying it, and he noticed a difference (albeit in an unflattering way!). ...

YVES SAINT LAURENT TEST ON ANIMALS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unfortunately like so many major companies, YSL have been proven to use materials in their products which test on animals. It is really not necessary, especially considering how much money they are making from consumers. I was shocked when I found this out and feel consumers have the right to know that their money contributes to the suffering of defenceless animals ... ...Eclat, it’s a great little product and extremely effective. Although the size of the tube is small, it lasts a long time. The major draw back is the price, but if you are after a quality product you should be able to manage this, especially if you manage to grab a great deal!
I’ve decided that I’m going to start phasing out products that test on animals from my make-up bag now, as much as I love them, now I know how they make them I can’t justify ...
Advantages: Covers darkness around the face Disadvantages: Expensive
I hadn’t actually heard about this product until a couple of years ago when a work colleague asked me to purchase one for her at the Duty Free shop in the airport as I was due to go abroad on holiday. She told me that she couldn’t be without it and that it covered a multitude of sins on her face each morning. I didn’t think too much more about it until a few weeks ago. You see, I do suffer from thread veins on the cheeks of my face and I have tried ... ...really been very effective. When applying my makeup I would keep thinking “how on earth can I get a concealer that will do the job to cover this redness?”
So, a couple of weeks ago, whilst visiting Salisbury I visited Beauty Fulltime, a shop which I found several weeks ago (see my Nina Ricci Lipstick review) and asked if they had YSL Touche Eclat as I had looked and couldn’t see it. I spoke to a Spanish (well, I think she was Spanish) lady who said ...
...and Gentlemen, I give you Yves Saint Laurent Touché Éclat…(Sounds posh doesn’t it? Believe me, it is!!)
I have been hearing about Touché Éclat (that’s Radiant Touch to the likes of you and me, although you can see why YSL stick with the Touché Éclat label worldwide – Radiant Touch sounds like cheap and nasty hair colorant) for many years now (it was launched in 1992) It’s a celebrity favourite, but I was never sure exactly what it was. It appeared ... ...is a fluid highlighter that contains light reflecting pigments, to disguise dark circles and give the face…well a radiant touch. But does it do exactly what it says on the tin?
With a complexion in desperate need of some luminosity and radiance (or failing that a facelift!!) I thought I’d give it a go.
The first (and main) problem with this product is the price. Radiance doesn’t come cheap (unless you are going to do it the painful way and drink ...
...best friend, Touche Eclat by Yves St Laurent. Thanks to this innovative product I no longer look washed out or have the appearance of a walking zombie, but fresh faced and healthy.
Since the birth of my son 6 months ago, I have tried countless other concealers and just about had to admit defeat, until I read about Touche Eclat in my weekly magazine. So whilst in Boots buying the normal hum-drum nappies and baby products I thought it was high-time ... ...of my head when the sales consultant at the make-up counter politely said "that's £21.99, please". I've never spent this much on one single make-up product in my life, but I was desperate, so grudgingly handed over my money. As the consultant prised my fingers open to receive my payment, she said "you'll be really pleased with the results". When I got home I pulled open the packaging which was very attractive and stylish - it should be at that price ...
...things I had ordered was Yves Saint Laurent’s ‘Touche Eclat.’ For months, site members have been raving about this product. It’s been featured in every magazine I’ve read. All the A-List celebrities apparently swear by it. I’d always intended to buy it but as it retails around £21, I couldn’t bring myself to buy it. Yes, I spend more than that on other products such as foundation, but for what I thought was a concealer, I felt it was a bit hefty.
... ...Eclat referred to as “the magic wand” by one make-up artist, so let me explain a little about what this is. Touch Eclat (also sometimes known as “Radiant Touch”) is a highlighter, rather than a concealer. Theoretically you apply it below your eyes to reflect attention from dark circles. It can of course be used on different areas of the face to brighten up your complexion, but is rather effective on the under-eye area which can be quite problematic ...
In my ignorance I had never heard of this product until I was watching a document on Geri Haliwell. While she was doing her makeup she used a gold pen under her eyes. I wanted to know what it was. f I could only have one item in my handbag I would have to go for YSL Touch Éclat.
I’ve been using it now for about three years and it’s the only thing I just can’t fault.
I remember watching a programme with Geri Halliwell and she pulled it out of her handbag and slapped a load on and I though it looked so expensive. In my opinion is its good enough for every celebrity out there and every makeup artist rates it, then its good enough for me.
I ... ...brought me one. I was so excited when I saw the gold box and got it straight out. It is such a luxurious item and the beautiful gold pen in comes in is so exquisite.
I think I inherited my dark circles from my mum because no matter how much sleep we get our eyes always look dark, sometimes mine even look bruised and you can see all the little purple capillaries under my translucent skin. Once I discovered make-up I started trying every type of concealer ...
As some of you will know from my other reviews I claim to be a non girly girl, however this is the third review I've done for a girly product!!
I like make-up, don't get me wrong, I just don't wear it every single second of every single day, as such it lasts me a long time and I feel very different when I wear it.
Advantages: Nice packaging, brush applicator is good Disadvantages: Coverage not so good, and too expensive
I first found out about this product after reading a couple of very favourable reviews on Ciao, and I really thought and hoped it would be the answer to all my prayers.
I have dark circles under my eyes which have been there since I was a child, they are hereditary and nothing to do with age. I have been to my doctor to see if anything can be done about them, and basically he told me there is no solution - all I can do is cover them with make up.
... ...of cover up sticks and nothing ever seems to be right. Usually they are not the right consistency and go all dry and cakey after a couple of hours wear, and though they cover up the blue-ness somewhat, you can see the make up because of the cakeiness which is not really desirable.
Anyway, this is a very trendy product that all the stars swear by. It claims to have particles that reflect the light and detract attention away from those problem areas. ...
Advantages: Excellent as an all purpose concelor. Very little required which means little gem will last a while. Also feels very nice on the skin (no cakey feeling) Disadvantages: A bit pricey (£20!!) and for those that don't have dark circles, this product is a wasted purchase.
Ever since I was a teenager, dreaded black circles under my eyes have worried me. Now, I don’t look like that old hag out of Snow white and the seven dwarves so you don’t need to run away jut yet!
