Waking up the neighbours!

Advantages: affordable, brilliant sound quality, DAB receiver
Disadvantages: limited format playback

...look no further than the Yamaha M-170. I have had the CRX M-170 model now in my living room for nearly 12 months and it is one of those purchases that will raise a smile when you look at it. While the number buttons are white with black letters (sensible), the play/pause/stop buttons are light grey with white letters. No contrast, you can barely read them; plus they're tiny buttons. The remote simply sucks. On the receiver itself, the buttons are fussy things. The jog dial is push to engage then twist. Not recommended. Don't buy it. ...
