Dahling, Im in the movies you know - and its an X

Advantages: Fun in a party situation
Disadvantages: : Soon gets boring

== You're in the Movies - Live Vision Camera (Xbox 360) == When my son received an X Box 360 for his birthday he saved his birthday money and went out looking for some more games for with it. While he was staying at his sisters he spotted some pre-owned games in Game Station. It was here that he found the 'You're in the Movies' game. This package comes with an Xbox camera, as well as the game. The normal price is around £50 but he managed to get ...
...go as with normal games, you're also asked to pose in certain positions and the camera photographs you. If you're stuck on how to perform a certain emotion you will be given a visual hint in by the on-screen actor At the end of the "filming", the shots are put into a "movie" trailer, for whichever film you did, and it makes it look like you're in the film!!!!!!!! The result is a short 3-minute film taking most of your movements from the mini games ...

In The Movies: XBox Game

Advantages: Very fun, gets you moving and having a good giggle!!
Disadvantages: Light can make the picture bad, if your alone it can be a little boring.

...in the shot, and then you're set up. You have around 20 "movies" to start off with, and unlock new ones as you go through the game, each "movie" is different, and you can have up to 4 people in each one. You stand in front of the camera and the "director" tells you what to do, for example "run from the bull", "swat away the flies", you earn points as you go as with normal games, you're also asked to pose in certain positions and the camera photographs ...
...it makes it look like you're in the film!!!!!!!! Its really quite clever, and unlike you'd think, it makes it very very fun to do as its made into mini games to get the shots it needs!!! Your points are added up, and the one with the highest points wins an "award" at the awards ceremony after the show!!!! :-D The game is hillarious fun, and gets you moving round abit too!!!! === Now, though the game is great fun there are some bad points: === The ...

You're in the Movies makes it frustrating to be a movie star

Advantages: Gets you off the couch, its a laugh
Disadvantages: No online play, annoying director, bad "green screen", bad movement recognition, very tedious

==You're in the Movies== Just like many other games out there, this one sounds great and has all the right ingredients to brew up a fun experience, but unfortunately falls flat of its promise. The game requires to buy an Xbox Live Vision Camera if you don't already have one for the filming, but the camera itself has some lighting issues. You can buy the game in a bundle with the camera but that means paying extra, which I suppose is okay because ...
...it being so... dissapointing. The point of the game is to perform in mini games, which I must say are bit of fun especially when with friends and family. The footage from those mini games are used in short b-movie flicks, but most of the hard work from the mini games isn't even used. The game has a Cut Out Studio which, before the mini games begin, cut your body "out" of the background by scanning the background and scanning the lighting. Unfortunately ...

You're in the movies XBOX 360

Advantages: Great family fun
Disadvantages: not ideal for small living rooms

Xbox 360 is carrying on its vein to become a more family friendly console. I bought this Saturday with the camera. I plugged the xbox live vision camera in the tv, placed the game in the tray. I saw myself on the tv. After around thirty seconds of deciding if the lighting is good enough in the room, and you've stepped into the outline the game is ready to begin. Each movie has parts for four charecters, and if only one person is playing the computer ...
...For each movie you have to take part in a series of mini games that will you see you playing a stuntman taking your scooter over the ramps. Playing a karate kid and chopping the wooden boards. Also being a fisherman and getting the treasure from the sea. Also you have to dance like a mad man. All in all there are fourty plus mini games. Each trailer has four rounds to complete, and at the end you get a fantastic trailer in which you, yes I mean you ...

Your in the movies 360

Advantages: great family fun, good mini games
Disadvantages: mini games could get repetitive

Another family friendly game from xbox. Your in the movies has around fourty mini games, such as punching the weights. The version I bought came with the video camera. Other mini games include hula hooping and punching the gangsters and avoiding the dames. Each section uses around ten mini games, and up to four people can take part and after around ten minutes a movie is made, well more a trailer. There are different genres of movie to make, if you ...
...only version. I think it will only work with the xbox live camera. Stuntman is another mini game and theres a dancing one where you ahve you to strike poses, after a while, I think after 7 movies director mode become undone. All the actions that have been done in the mini-games all come together to make a movie and its really good to see the finished product. Movies last around three minutes and they can all be saved. ...
