Mirror mirror on the wall.....

Advantagescan shop online or by mail order

Disadvantagesno shops in this country any more

"...reason I have been an Yves Rocher fan for almost 20 years. I love browsing round their shops but now can only do that in Europe, guess we English weren't ready for them at the time they were here!! In the UK we can buy mail order or, as I do, on-line at www.yves-rocher.co.uk. You need to register to buy but the site is very easy to use, with clear pictures and descriptions. A very brief history: Yves Rocher began making cosmetics in 1956 in ..." Read review

the wonder of plants

Advantagesexcellent products, delivery within 7 days

Disadvantagesnone

"I've been using Yves Rocher products for quite a while now and still get excited at the prospect of receiving my goodie box (!!) through the post. All Yves Rocher products are made with plant extracts and are not tested on animals (in fact they were the first European cosmetic company to stop testing on animals). Yves Rocher is a French based company which has been producing natural beauty products since the early sixties. The main reason I ..." Read review

Natural Beauty at its Best

AdvantagesProcts made from plant extracts and not tested on animals

Disadvantagescoat of some items is high!

"...1980’s I have been using Yves Rocher on and off. Main reason for starting was the low introductory prices and also that the products come from plant extracts which have not been tested upon animals. Now a days I would rather use Avon products, but I continue to buy Yves Rocher teas, as they are lovely and fruity, plus they often are packed as gift sets which I like to use for presents. Yves Rocher products are not cheap but there are many ..." Read review

Special offers and free gifts

AdvantagesGood products and good offers

DisadvantagesIt is easy to get carried away and order too much!

"Yves Rocher is a mail order company selling cosmetics, in a similar vein to Avon, but without the representatives. I initially purchased from Yves Rocher in answer to an advert in a magazine offering free gifts and low prices. These adverts are plentiful so they’re not difficult to find. When I received my first order I also received the Yves Rocher Green Book of Beauty for that year, which is the catalogue containing all the products ..." Read review

Something for everyone

AdvantagesCheap enough to try out the products you like - to see if they really do suit you or not.

DisadvantagesSome of the regular prices are comparable to in-store products, but you know you're getting a better quality, more natural product.

"I'm another Yves Rocher fan, have been probably for a good twenty years now, and over the years have used quite a few of their different products. I, like many others, found out about Yves Rocher by way of those one page magazine ads where you can get so many products for so much, and they give you additional free samples too. Sounded too good to miss ... so I sent off an order. That was the first of many, and all greeted with the same joy when that ..." Read review

Yves Rocher AWFUL Customer Service

Advantageson-line

Disadvantagespoor service, prices on web page not reflected when place in your cart

"...a large purchase from this Yves Rocher(over $200) and on the web page the price listed for a brush-set was on sale for 50% off the normal $15, so it was $7.50. I placed a large order with over 20 items and did not realize until after the order was placed that the brush set some how ended up being charged at the full price and not the 1/2 price it was listed for on the web page. When I contacted Yves Rocher customer service they told me I was looking ..." Read review

Fab offers; students need not apply :-)

AdvantagesGood offers, cheap!

Disadvantagesyou can get carried away, delivery problems.

"Yves Rocher are like of Avon - ie. no shops (as far as I know of), and you buy through catalogues or online. There are no Yves rocher reps, I think. Yves Rocher say they are a French company, who use natural ingredients, developed without cruelty to animals. Their product range focuses heavily on plant extracts, and most of the products are named in French. Their main advantage is that they have great offers. Again, this is a very Avon-like ..." Blooming lovely

AdvantagesGood value for money

Disadvantagesonly mail order

"I have used Yves Rocher for many years [over 30 years], initially attracted to the company as a teenager because of the products being made from plants. My custom with them has often been hit and miss thinking I could better deals on the high street, but never have done I've got particularly sensitive skin and have a consistent order with the company, the Chamille and Hamamelis range. The family all love the products, the Hamamelis range is used ..." Read review

Yves Rocher - Beauty by mail Order

AdvantagesGreat Selection and wonderful gifts with purchase

DisadvantagesSlow Delivery

"This is the best mail order/Internet Health and Beauty shop I have come across, dare I say it, far better than Avon!! The value for money is unbeleivable and they are always offering some special offer to receive a gift or two with purchase. Thats what drew me to order from them in the first place and now with every order comes a new promotion and I just keep on ordering - never could resist a freebie. For Example, my lastest order was for some ..." Read review

Are Yves Rocher really cruelty free products?

Advantagesnone

Disadvantagestheir no animal testing policy is extremely ambigous!

"I have shopped with Yves Rocher for quite a while and the reason I did was because I understood that they did not test on animals. I found their products so and so but decided that a company not testing on animals was worth compromising a little on quality. However I became concerned when I only ever saw on the animal welfare websites, that either Yves Rocher was not listed as a company who DOES NOT test and others were openly stating that they ..." Natures best

AdvantagesWide range of natural beauty products

Disadvantageseasy to spend too much

"Yves Rocher sell only beauty products made from natural plant extracts by mail order. They advertise in many popular magazines, and as an opening offer you get a good selection of beauty products, including cleanser, shower gel, moisturiser, mascara, lipstick etc ( approximately 10 products in all, although the offer varies occassionally ) for £9.95. Included in your first package is the 'Green book of beauty' which is their catalogue, and an order ..." Read review
