Y is one of the many perfumes from the range of Yves Saint Laurent. It comes in a plain white box with gold writing and a large Y to the front. The weight on the bottle I have, which is a vaporisateur is 100ml 3.3 fl oz. The bottle is square and the gold push down spray top is a fanned shape. It has a good solid look to it, and is finished off with gold writing to the front. Created in 1964, Y was brought ... ...Yves Saint Laurent. It's a classic fragrance, quite timeless really, and a suitable perfume for day or night I would say. It's light and green, with notes of jasmine. It has a delicate smell of powdery roses, quite lovely, and Y is one of my very favourite perfumes. I find it a little similar to Rive Gauche, only much lighter. Y is quite a subtle scent , light and gracious.

Advantages: Not a perfume that everyone wears, widely available Disadvantages:
I was looking for a fragrance for my wedding and wanted something different, that other guests might not be wearing. I found out that this perfume has been on the market for quite a while, so knew that it had stood the test of time. It is a light fragrance with floral scents and lasts for a long time. Its not too heavy, so you don't have to worry about spraying too much on and knocking other people out with the smell!
