Advantages: Superb results from a budget machine Disadvantages: I havn't found one YET
I am somewhat new to this but I would like to share my experiences for this washer as I have found it to be a well worth while purchase. Firstly I would like to apologise in advance if I tend to ramble on a bit and any helpful comments would be appreciated.

Choice
++++++ I will start by giving my reasons for choosing this particular appliance. In the past I have always stuck to Hotpoint, however my last machine had been giving me problems ... ...5 year parts cover, the labour cost still makes it an expensive game to keep having the engineer out. After the 3rd or 4th repair within two years, I decided it was time to change.
A friend of mine had recommended Zanussi to me, so I thought I would give it a go. After all a recommendation from an end user is worth 20 sales brochures in my book.

I have only had this machine 3 months and it has now broken down. Having just completed a wash cycle, the door opening mechanism has now broken leaving me unable to remove my wet clothes. I have also found that it has become noisy over the past 2 weeks. Am currently awaiting a zanussi engineer. ...

Quick review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF 16070
...Electrolux. But, I find there is Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF 16070, I get curious of what the brand is. I then come to appliance store and collect information that Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF 16070 is just as quality as Electrolux itself because these two brands do a co-branding. Advantages: Decent wash and spin, easy to use Disadvantages: Broke down after 5 weeks
Bought a Zanussi ZWF16070W1 from M&S. Installation engineer arrived in very bad mood and said "Zanussis are a nightmare to install" and then refused to install it. He said we would get the installation fee refunded from M&S but they later said we wouldn't.
Machine was reasonable for wash and spin but broke down after just 5 weeks. The drum stopped turning and it sounded like the motor was having a problem. M&S say it is outside their 7 day period, ... ...an engineer to visit (for which we have to take a day off work) and either repair it or condemn it for replacement (which will mean another day off work).
I would have expected a straight replacement for a machine that breaks down after just 5 weeks.
Overall very disappointing service and unsatisfactory reliability or durability. ...
