Review of the Zippo Brushed Chrome Lighter. Zippo lighters have been around for many years and are renowned for being sturdy, durable lighters. Me and my partner both being quite heavy smokers our selfs, we do tend to get through quite a few lighters! Normally we use disposable lighters from, say, the pound shop etc., but recently we have started using Zippo lighters. I was given my Zippo Brushed Chrome Lighter as a gift from my other half this last Valentine's Day. I love to collect lighters of different designs and I am always on the lookout for them. I keep many of them inside my glass display cabinet in the spare room where nosey little fingers do not often venture unaccompanied. The zippo lighter is an interesting product. Now that you can buy a bic lighter for a dollar at any convenience store, it may seem odd that you would pay 20 or more dollars for a lighter. But in my opinion, the solidity of a zippo in your hand combined with the satisfying click of the open, makes it a million times better than a flimsy disposable lighter. Zippos do require more maintenance than a disposable, so if you don't want to bother with that than the zippo might not be for you.
