    Advantages Advantages A large selection of effects, extremely customisable, solid metal build, many inputs/outputs

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some effects sound too "digital", effects often become muddy, need MIDI interface to update

    The Background Zoom is company once reknowned for low-end multi-FX pedals, usually used by bedroom guitarists. While they have made products in the high-end field and in digital recording, most guitarists on ground level will associate the brand with the likes of the 505 series pedal: which was undoubtedly designed for the bedroom player.
