    Those of you have read previous reviews of mine will know that I am a cookaholic and love trying new recipes. I’m forever surfing the net for inspiration as well as devouring cookery books as if they were going out of fashion. All recipes is an informative site with numerous links and recipes and has proved over the years to be the place where I stop by at least once a week to check out what’s new. As the site is American you will find that there are references to Hershey bars and manufacturers which we may have not heard of, but I can always compromise and use something else for the ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages They don't deliver a personal chef to cook for you

    I've used allrecipes.com for a few years now and use it at least once a week. I love being able to go and find something new to try out for the family. Otherwise we'd be stuck eating tacos, hot dogs and spaghetti.... not that there's anything wrong with that. But let's face it, we all need variety. The layout of allrecipes.com is easy to use. On the left-hand side of the site you will find a number of categories to jump to such as Appetizer, Soup, Salad etc. Within each category you will find sub-categories.     Disadvantages Disadvantages bit unfamiliar with some USA weights /measures and some ingredients are named differently

    I only stumbled across this web-site a couple of months ago and I have to say I find myself on there quite a lot just looking around for inspiration and new recipes . You will notice that it is an American site, but also you can get directed to allrecipes.co.uk . I tend to stick with '.com as there are much much more recipes to browse and also many many more members and loads of helpful reviews on the individual recipes which often include tweaks on how to improve the recipe or just a good variation on a recipe. allrecipes.com is an online community -anybody can join and it is FREE!!     Disadvantages Disadvantages if your not from the USA, you may not understand what some ingredients are.

    Sometimes it can be difficult to come up with ideas of what to cook for yourself, family, friends etc. But with allrecipes.com this should not be a problem! I am fanatical about cooking and have searched many recipe websites on the internet, but I have been a user of this site for quite some time and I believe it is by far the best recipe website out there.... THE HOMEPAGE LAYOUT The layout of allrecipes.com is pretty simple to navigate, when arriving on the site you will see the 'recipe of the day', along with the newest photos of recipes and 'the cook of the week' on the homepage.     i'm sure many busy moms like me rely on online recipes to make dishes for the family. this is an example of a good site. another favorite that i also use is gourmandia.com. i recommend it to anyone who wants to cook easy and delicious meals.as a busy mom, i try my best to find time to cook and share meals with my husband and kids. i'm so glad food website are adapting to technology and the internet. i hope more new recipes keep coming so we can continue learning and sharing the dishes that we like to our friends and loved ones. just recently, i shared my favorite cooking websites to my dear ... more
