Advantages Advantages excellent uptime, loads of domains to choose from

Disadvantages Disadvantages it's no longer free, templates aren't very good

Another.com is a great web site offering e-mail domain address and e-mail services at a great price. They have a massive range of domain name extensions that can all be controlled through one account. This review covers my experiences with another.com, and another.com as a web site offering e-mail addresses and my conclusion. My Experience with Another.com *************************************** Here is an overview of my experience with another.com and if you like what you hear, you can read on afterwards about what features another.com offers. -- History -- I first joined another.com about ... more

Advantages Advantages NO SPAM. NO SPAM. NO SPAM.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages It isn't free

~ ~ In the six years or so since I got wired to the old World Wide Web I’ve had dozens of email addresses, with all sorts of different email providers. In common with most folks, I suppose my first was with Outlook Express, the free email service from Microsoft that seems to come packaged with every Microsoft Windows system. ~ ~ Then I began to discover sites like Yahoo, Lycos, and Hotmail, and opened new free email accounts with them. But they all had one big fault in common. That’s right; you guessed it! The bane of everyone who uses emails life. SPAM!!! I’d open up my ... more

Advantages Advantages A fun alternative, as good as any of the big boys.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Whilst they've got rid of the sponsorship (Apparently), they are now charging for the service. Is it really worth it?

I came across another.com last year, after seeing their name on a number of billboard ads. Their selling point was that you could select your own URLs to go with you e-mail address. As I was getting a bit disenchanted with my previous account with a different provider I decided to join up. The site provides the standard the standard facilities that you'd expect from a free e-mail provider. You can send and receive emails without any great problems. There's a perfectly functional address book and the facility to create folders to hide your email away in. Sa far, so good. So onto the main ... more

    Advantages Advantages Loads of addresses

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing flash

Another.com is great in that it's free. The other special feature of it is the shear number of alias's and email addresses you can have. The choice is massive, so personalising your email is easy. Actually getting the different email addresses is a dull and tedious process, but mercifully short. I first used this site because a friend had told me about it. One advantage that I have found is that I can use one of my email addresses as a junk account - for emails sent to me by companies that I have subscribed to for some reason. This means that I need never be bothered by the irrelevant rubbish ... more

    Advantages Advantages Quick, different domain-names

Disadvantages Disadvantages where to begin, down-times, refusal to send e-mails, I could go on

You know I only joined up here on a bet, Y´all know I´m a dooyoo writer first don´t you?, well I bet you want to know what the bet was all about don´t you?, No?, well tough, I´m telling you anyway! It was one night sat in a dooyoo chat-room, a prominent dooyoo writer started bragging that they could pick out any dooyoo writer on a different site just by their writing style, well I´m always one to shoot down claims like that, so I set down the challenge - I´d join another pay-for-write site, use a different name, write one opinion and leave it (obviously I´ve ended up writing a few more but ... more

Advantages Advantages Very fast, good e-mail, reliable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Other services are very poor

Another.com is a fairly new website which gives you free e-mail. But not boring e-mail, oh no. They have come up with a unique idea allowing you to choose from over 60,000 endings for you e-mail address. So say I was young and very cool, then I may call myself thedanguy@hotsexymanclub.com. OK, so maybe that's a bit ridiculous, but you can have some serious fun with the e-mail addresses. And of course you'll find pleanty of rude ones which are rather unmentionable here, but I am sure you can make yourself an idea about them. Who this site is for... Advantages Advantages Up to 20 addresses, can choose your own domain name, can be anonymous.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Occasional log in problems.

I recently registered with Another.com for free e-mail, and am really pleased with it so far. For those who don't know what it's all about, Another.com is a free web based e-mail, which allows you to choose from thousands of domain names at which to have your e-mail address. The domain names are listed by category and there really is something to suit everybody. For each free registration you can choose up to 20 different addresses, either all on the same domain name, or on different ones. All your e-mails received to any one of your addresses come in to the same inbox, and when you compose an ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, multiple addresses in one inbox

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sometimes a bit slow...

E-mail has to be one of THE most important ways of communication in the modern world, and contrary to belief, it was in fact around before the Internet ever was. Another.com is one of the many Internet-based e-mail services, and is among the best I have seen. With other accounts (e.g, Yahoo, uboot, Hotmail etc), you have a log-in name, which acts as your email account, for example, johnsmith@hotmail.com. With another.com, it's different. You still have a log-in name, so you would have johnsmith@another.com, but you can also sign up to up to 20 addresses within that account, with around 1000 ... more

Yes it is another free webmail provider however this one has a little twist. I have used hotmail for as long as I can remember, also Yahoo! Mail was a regular haunt, and a few others to boot as well. However having grown up and matured somewhat (at least in terms of the Internet!) I only used hotmail for a lot of general mail and junk! And my own personal POP3 accounts. The rest I tend to leave well alone. Why bother with going to Another.com then? Okay willkeenan@hotmail.com is okay, I mean it’s my name, and it does it’s job. However there is no real uniqueness there. Now ... more

Advantages Advantages domain names, multiple email addresses, customisable, seach for domain names.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Occasional Downtime

We've all set up web-mail accounts, and I for one tend to get very bored of my email addresses very often...this can be a pain because you have to either tell everyone about the new address of keep checking back to old accounts. Also the domain names of most email accounts are very boring - how many of your friends have @hotmail.com accounts?? Not very exciting is it?? And how many times have you tried to set up an account on hotmail or the likes and had to keep entering different usernames (as they are always taken) or else settle for the username you wanted with a number like 15645 attached ... more
