    Advantages Advantages Good value, quality clothes. Wide range of goods and a search engine that works!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages £100 minimum spend for free delivery but I think this is becoming the norm.

    I first heard about Argos Additions in store when we went to pick up the new catalogue, at first I didn't want to get the catalogue as I thought that it would be expensive fashion clothing, which I'm not really into. However a friend had the catalogue and she was planning to get some clothes for her teenage daughter from it so I decided to take a look. Was I impressed or What!     Advantages Advantages affordable prices, great selection, decent delivery and different pay options

    Disadvantages Disadvantages website can be slow sometimes, you can always click on items for images, not info send out when there are problems with order

    Quite while ago I wrote my opinion about a catalogue company as at that time I used to buy a lot of things from catalogues and online But that novelty quickly worn off as I found myself paying more than I could afford...     I came across argos additions while browsing their main site. I knew Argos, had brought out one of the home shopping catalogues (was it Littlewoods?). I needed a new pair of black jeans, in a hurry, so I thought lets have a look here. The layout and design is not too fussy or cluttered, it is easy to find what you are looking for, either by category or by searching for a specific item. Prices are displayed along with a picture of the item, just like browsing through a catalogue only much easier.     I thought I'd write a review on this topic, as the other, whilst good, are slightly elderly. This is particularly significant as Additions have recently been sold off by Argos and are now Additions Direct and not linked to Argos at all. You can view the Additions range of products in 2 ways, either by getting a catalogue (direct from Add, or picked up from Boots stores). Or by shopping online @ www.additionsdirect.co.uk What is slightly confusing is that the range of products seems to vary, so the products in the catalogue don't always seem to be the same as those online.     After receiving my new Kays catalogue, and my new Index-extra catalogue and finding the price for clothes in both of them to be a little on the pricey side, I decided to look on-line for alternatives.     I am a computer scientist a geek whatever you want to call me; I can’t cope with face-to-face real life shopping so I have to turn to my trusty computer and 24/7 Internet connection when I need new clothes.     Well, I never saw this coming did any of you? ARGOS selling clothes! Well it's happened and its here so what did I do...? I checked it out of course. I went shopping the other day and I nipped into my local Argos store and took an update of there usual book but I also took their new issue of 'ARGOS ADDITIONS'.     Disadvantages Disadvantages When ordering a product having to pay p&p charge on top of the product price.

    I looked through the Argos Additions site and noticed a product that I liked and I thought it would be nice to purchase the item for the summer months. It was the Demin Skirt which is ankle length and has frilled edges down the front and at the bottom. It also has a added belt at the front which under that is the zip fasning when putting on the garment. It gives you plenty of room to move when wearing I found waering the skirt myself very comfortable. It is reasonably priced and it is in sizes from 8 to 16.     I was half expecting this site to be full of overpriced clothes like most mail order catalogues. I was very pleasently surprised to find out that it was cheaper than all catalogues, as well as a lot of high street stores. A lot of the clothes on the site can also be found in mail order catalogues loke Choice, but cheaper. I saw a shirt in Choice that I was going to buy for £14, then I looked on Argos additons and found it £5 cheaper!!     If you are a label queen stop reading now! Argos additions is for bargain hunters only. The clothes are cheap and cheerful and nothing else. Do not expect to pick up a wedding outfit on this site. The range is very good, and it is very good for picking up clothes for your summer holidays. It offers clothes for men, women and children, shoes, sportswear etc for very low prices. All orders over £100 have free delivery, anything else can be delivered to your nearest store free of charge, which makes returns, (also to the same store) which must be done within 16 days, rather a nuisance.
