What You See Isn't Always What You Get! Review with images

AdvantagesNo crowds and long queues and you get to explore the whole site aisle by aisle

DisadvantagesSubstitutions are horrible.

"I like to buy my groceries by shopping in person but sometimes I feel too tired or too lazy to go out, so I do the easy and quick option which is online shopping. I have used a few online shopping sites like Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s and Asda’s. My recent purchase from Asda’s was based on the fact that they were offering free delivery on orders over £99 via entering a special code. This was vital for me because I usually have to fork out an extra £5.00 ..." Read review

This sevice gets worse the more I use it!

Advantagescheaper than other supermarkets, website easy to use, deliveries on time

Disadvantagesitems out of stock, wrong items sent, customer service team is not helpful, poor customer service

"Grocery Shopping = = = = = = = = = = I don't mind going grocery shopping and it doesn't bother me having to go out and do it, how-ever due to work commitments and not being able to get to my local supermarket all the time I decided to start shopping for some of these items online and having them delivered. My local supermarket is Sainsbury's, how-ever quite often I will go to my local store to find shelves empty or products that go out of date the ..." Read review

You Asda have a look Diamond review

AdvantagesCheap and lots of choices

DisadvantagesNot the clearest of sites to get around

"==You Asda go there== I normally shop at Tesco.com - but occasionally I stray over the fence and look around for comparisons. This week I did a grocery shop at Asda for the first time, as it saved me £7 on my overall shop and we are saving pennies wherever we can. So I wanted to share my experience with you, and pass on any helpful advice that I learnt from my online travels. ===It Asda start somewhere=== Asda was formed in 1965, ..." Read review

Heaven for Lazy People!

AdvantagesEasy way to buy groceries

DisadvantagesPossible mistakes

"Asda.com (home shopping) Before using Asda home shopping I read all the reviews written about it to know what kind of service I should expect. I read some fairly good reviews and other terribly bad experiences, and I took the risk. I waited to have a bad experience with Asda before I review the service, but now after six deliveries, nothing seriously bad happened. Still, I will try to discuss all the negative aspects that some reviewers mentioned. To ..." Read review

I almost bought £32 worth of cheese in the name of Ciao!

AdvantagesWide range of cheap products, easy to use, delivery prices not too bad, excellent customer service

DisadvantagesSearch engine not great, don't always deliver on time

"...on your card and your Asda.co.uk password. On the summary page, you can also tell Asda what products you would and wouldn't like subtitutions for by checking or unchecking the box next to the item. You are then given a confirmation and your order number. Can I just say, I almost bought 19 blocks of cheese at £32 trying to get all the details right in the review. If you've entered & saved your card details previously, it goes straight from checkout ..." Read review

Now I Never Have To Go To The Shops Again!

AdvantagesQuick, some nice features in the online store, relatively simple.

DisadvantagesCan't 'feel' the goods, sometimes delivery can be a bit pricey.

"One of the things I hate about living in the countryside is the fact that the nearest supermarket is a trek and a half away. As we don't have a car at the moment it means walking is our only means of transport, unless we manage to time it at the right point a bus comes along (which isn't often). Following a hectic day yesterday, and being too harrassed to even contemplate the walk to the shops, the walk back and not to mention being weighed down with ..." Read review

Asda.com lost my food and were two hours late!

AdvantagesA good and easy to use website.

DisadvantagesToo many problems with delivery.

"Asda.com Home Delivery So this month I decided to do my first ever home delivery for my food shop, we were away when we got paid, and then my husband was working nights for the next few nights, so desperate for food, we decided to use Asda for a delivery for yesterday evening. We have often thought of doing a home delivery, thinking it would save us a lot of money by not impulse buying as we walked around the shop, and without the hassle of having ..." Read review

At Last! Shopping Can Be Easy!!

AdvantagesTime Slot for Delivery, Easy to Use, Usual Low ASDA Prices, reasonable delivery charges

DisadvantagesNot knowing if a product is out of stock

"...from ASDA. I first started using Asda.co.uk just over a year ago at Christmas 2003 because I ad heard many good things about them and as I was feeling a bit lazy that day we decided to give online supermarket shopping a go. Well just over 12 months later and now I use it about once a month. How lazy is that? The actual website itself has its moments when it can be really slow, which is a bit of a downside to it. Although in the defence of the ..." Read review

An online grocery service I will never use again

AdvantagesThe site is ok

DisadvantagesDelivery, customer service

"I have used the asda grocery home delivery service a few times now. Everytime I have always found something wrong but this has been small things that were sorted out easily - things missing, things out of date etc. Recently I have not been using asda because I have found the service to be much better elsewhere, however when they emailed me to tell me they had put a free delivery code on my account I thought I would give them one last try. I had my ..." Read review

It asda be a good choice!

AdvantagesPrice & Service

DisadvantagesProduct descriptions can be a little confusing

"I am really sorry abour the title! Well the credit crunch finally took hold and I had to re-think my grocery shopping habits. Those of you who have read my previous reviews will know that I shop online and that I favour one supermarket in particular, well all good things have to come to an end and they were a little on the expensive side. I had tried Sainsburys in the past but was so disappointed with their service that I could not bring myself ..." Read review

Lazy persons guide to shopping Diamond review

AdvantagesYou dont end up buying things you dont need

DisadvantagesDifficult to tell exactly what it is your buying

"After leaving home a few months ago I found that one of the crappiest, most time consuming and most expensive things I had to do was go shopping. I don't hate it as such, but it's a waste of time and all those corporate ploys supermarkets use to make you buy stuff you don't even want work really well on me. For example, I popped into Kwik Save last week to buy two cartons of orange juice and a pack of cheese triangles only to walk out with thirteen ..." Read review

Thats Asda price

Advantagesgood value, easy to use, price match

Disadvantagessite slow somethimes, customer service not always good

"I first started buying from Asda.co.uk when I had an online gift voucher for £10 off a £50 shop which i though was fab! Joining ******** Registering on the site is fairly easy, you just enter your post code first of all for them to see if they deliver to your area. If they do its then a case of entering some personal details name, address, create a oin number, email address that sort of thing and then you click on "Go shopping" Once you have ..." Read review

ASDA out Tesco In

Advantageseasy to find items to order on line

Disadvantageslet you down at last minute

"Why Asda My brother who is ill always shops at ASDA so he knows the products there. Ordering This is very simple. You register on line and you can choose an address where to have this sent which is brilliant if you are like me ordering for someone else. Asda will ask you to choose a memorable date and your own pin number. When you have registered they will send you a personal number. You fill in your payment card details and then you ..." Not exactly door to door Service

AdvantagesDelivered to you home, higher priced subs given

DisadvantagesQuality of freshness, carry in shopping yourself

"I usually use Tesco.com for my shopping as I find the site very easy to use and the drivers are always so helpful and polite. But on returning from our holiday we needed our shopping a little sooner and Tesco were fully booked so I decided to try Asda.com. I managed to get a time zone for 11am - 1pm the following day which was good news. The site: You start off by entering your ID number or email address and pin number. Which you will have ..."
