Advantages: Ebay Clone For Firearms Disadvantages: No Real Customer Support - No Buyer Protection - Generally Not User Friendly
Gunbroker.com absolutely sucks. As I see it there are five major issues with gunbroker.com.
The first is the storage of your personal credit card information and the incredibly cumbersome process of terminating your own account and having that information removed from the gunbroker.com database.
Second is the misclassification of merchandise within the various listing categories. To me there is just way too much junk and spam listings cluttering ... ...are not require to communicate that products being sold are used rather than new. If you do receive used items that were not identified you are out of luck as gunbroker.com washes its hands of the victim.
Third is that there is no mechanism in place require a seller to sell or ship. I even had on instance of threatening a credit card chargeback and fraud report because a seller was paid, kept payment and failed to deliver. The amazing thing is that ...

Advantages: simple and easy to navigate and search, great customer service Disadvantages: none that i see
auction arms gets five stars in my book. on the other hand beware of gunbroker. Because, if your counting on getting what you bid on at gunbroker don't get your hopes up too high. I was the only bidder on a Ruger PC9, man i been looking for a good deal on one of those for over a year, and i won it for 400 bucks plus 20 bucks in shipping ... i was about to dance a jig, when I got the results saying i won, thenTonyltd, the seller, told me he sold it ... ...there was nothing in the listing saying that he reserved the right to end the auction early; but what made me mad was that gunbroker sided with him stating that there was no bids on it, when he sold it. Of course they're gonna side with him, he's the one paying the listing fee, me i'm just a buyer who they don't get anything out of, gunbroker doesn't care about me. These are the two main sites for buying firearms in the USA. While one reviewer seems to have issues with AA, as a seller and buyer, my experience has been very positive. It appears that the site owner does just about everything, which can be good and bad. However, if and when problems develop, you know you're dealing with the head honcho. How many other sites can claim that? No real problems and an easy site to navigate. Some people want fancy, ... ...to buy guns - period. Who cares about color schemes or layout, etc? I want to see the guns! And it's not difficult to find what you need - use the Search engine!
On the other hand, my experience at GunBroker.com was almost entirely negative. First, despite a legal contract (the "User Agreement") that specifies that only individuals can use the site and they must use true physical addresses (no PO Boxes), during registration you can sign up as a ...

I am proud of having the possibilty to buy a weapon. I think that is something everybody should be able to and it is a great thing in the USA. You feel a lot safer with a gun at home.
I´ve looked in the local gun stores but could not find anything for which reason I´ve rechecked the internet for some good offers.
I´ve looked up the web for the main gun auction sites and don´t know why this site has been rated that well here. It is a very poor commercial ...

Advantages: Great variety and easy to use Disadvantages: Too many neat things, too little money
This site is outstanding. They got started when E-bay ill advisedly decided to ban firearms on their site. There are literally thousands of new and used firearms to browse and bid on. Real bargains are available and the site is very well laid out and user friendly.
I was able to find some rare .50 70 ammo on the site and they have a constantly changing set of items to view.
You can also look at closed items and get some idea of what like items ... ...of processing a small one-time registration fee sure seems to keep fraudulent sellers and buyers away.
I even got the support personnel to respond to my questions quickly and they were helpful. Unexpected customer service and attention from this sort of site.
5 star site by all means! ...
