I found this sling whilst browsing in Mothercare. I liked the idea of being able to have my baby close to me so bought it. Unfortunately, I couldnt seem to get the position right for my son when he was young. He hated the lying down positions and always seemed very squashed. I initially gave up on the sling but came back to it when he was a bit older (around 2-3 months) and had more neck control. By then he could try out a different position where ...

i found the babasling whilst browsing in a baby shop and it is fab! The babasling is made from thick cotton and is well padded in all the right areas. it comes with an instruction booklet which was a little difficult to understand the diagrams, but after studying it for ages i began to get the hang of it. On first glance this sling appears to be very simple, the instructions are clear and I appreciated the benefits of carrying your child in the ways the company suggest e.g. encouraging face to face contact. However I would strongly recommend practicing a lot with this item before leaving the house. Even when I was convinced the sling was adjusted correctly, it never felt completely secure. I bought this as an aid to breast feeding in public when my baby was only 2 weeks old. This was great at first, but once my baby got longer (he is a very long baby) we struggled to use it. It seems like my little one is squashed up, but still great for discreet nursing on odd occaisions whilst out and about. I deffinetly love this sling! It is so easy to use because of the detailed instruction booklet and I love the colors it comes in.
