Trying to get a refund for non delivery is almost impossible, as all they keep telling you is to wait ten days for a returns form. When this doe,s not arrive they tell you a second form will be with you asap, but what they mean is another ten days. In my view this firm is a load of crap where customer services concerned. ...

last night on bid up a l c d t v was going for a pound, he read out a phone number witch was not on the screen he got as far as four digits then said well done you all got it for a pound you must have rang a random number. i don`t believe any one got it for a pound as the lines are not open until the number is on the screen and there was no number on the screen.plus you are not going to ring random numbers, did you con us? ...

I am not too happy with some of the happenings of these channels. The fact you can only buy one item at a time (or pay P&P and call cost) on another phone. They boast a money back guarantee but they fail to say it doesn't include your P&P. I recently had to return a very cheap item because they sent the wrong size, even their invoice confirmed the size it should have been, but the label on the garment was a size smaller. I called and said I expected ...
...to date I only have the cost of the item, so they have their wrong sized goods back to sell to someone else and I'm out of pocket by £15:00 as I had to pay to return the goods as well - not such a bargain after all. The speed auction is also questionable because they seldom have a clock to show how much time is left - I have seen the auction go on for several seconds after the presenter has said time was up - this leaves it open to higher bidders ...

How many people simply ignore the postage and packing costs? I know that sometimes we all have to pay towards delivery,I say sometimes because there are quite a few traders who do not charge anything and most of them do offer a free returns service if they do charge for delivery.Bid up tv in my opinion is a very good service, but ,they do fall down when the presenters tell you that a product will only cost for example £10 and never tell you that ...
...if you have to return an item you will have to pay the return p&p they only reimburse the cost of the item into your bank account. So come on Bid -Tv do the right thing and give us the proper info via your presenters because at the end of the day yourselves and your sister channels do provide some amazing savings ...

I 'invested' in Sky Digital some 3 and a half years ago, once I had, I was amazed b the wide variet of channels! Upon flicking through the 647th channel- Bid UP TV (as it was then) I came across what appeared to be an online eBay, auctioning off saucepans, watches, golf lcubs and kiddies toys, absolutely enchanted by the bright orange set, I decided to sit down and have a watch. I wasn't overly impressed and found myself flicking though the rest ...
...A few weeks later, I was making some horrible student concoction when my saucepan broke, really annoyed with myself, I binned it, along with my food, ordered a chinese and settled in front of Sky. I had the misfortune of having to return an item of jewellery as it was damaged, and telephoned customer services for their advice. I went to the post office, got a receipt, and awaited my refund as per their instructions. That was 25/8/05. As of today - 17/1/06 - I have still to receive it. They pass me from one department to another (if Im lucky enough to actually get to speak to an operator!) or Im told someone will phone me back. They never do. ...

Well my family and me must have discovered this TV show and WEBSITE about a year ago we decided to treat our selves and bought a digital box. Then we discovered this channel AND WEBSITE and decided to buy a few more treats oops. We must have spent a 1000 pounds or more, we bought all sorts from clothes, games to ornaments. And boy did we pay the price my parents were addicted to the program and wouldn't stop buying things. My personal view on it ...

I have brought several items from Bid Tv and have been impressed with the items. I do however think the delivery charges especially with smaller items can be to high and i would take in to account the final total. I have also put in bids over the website but was not informed that i had won, so i put in another bid by phone and ended up with two of the same articles. I do have Bid Tv on my television most days and sometimes it can be repeatative. ...

bid-up tv is a good channel if you want to purchase useful items such as mobile phones to kitchen equipment to digital cameras and video games,the only downfall is that the background tune gets anoying after a while,apart from that they sen the products very swiftly rarely turn up damaged, postage is cheap to.the good thing about price drop tv is that there is always a large amount of quantity of the goods they sell so you can be sure to get one ...

Great website easy to use and fast delivery on all items, i got a television for my mum and dad's caravan for under £100, beating the shop / retail price by at least £50, a right good bargain. The website is really easy to navigate, with lots of sections but all very informative and well laid out! The goods were delivered in good time and were in a great new condition as expected! www.bid-up.tv seems to me to be a very good easy to use website with many great features and extrodinaly low prices. But there are one or two down sides such as to bid for something you can not bid for it online you have to call up a telephone number which costs £1.00 or if you do do it online you have to sign up which takes ages.
