    Bored.com This is one hell of a wicked site for anyone who is stuck at work, has access to the Internet and gets bored with the same old stuff over and over again. There is no other site like it that I have found and boredom is no longer a factor for me now that I have bored.com.     If your anything like me you have plenty of free time during the day which you struggle to fill, or sometimes the opinions don't come in fast enough on Ciao. OK, you can watch TV, listen to music, read a book (yeah right), but this is sometimes not enough to relieve that boredom. Well this site is designed to help out in this time of crisis.     "I'm bored', whined my daughter, as thirteen year olds are wont to do. Resisting the temptation to deliver the usual, 'when I was your age we couldn't afford to be bored and we had to live on bread and lard' etc., I told her to use her imagination instead. Not much more use than the speech, I admit. However, the result of this was, she promptly typed 'I'm bored', into Google. Up came a selection of pages containing, conspicuously, Bored.com.     As the name suggests, this site is for people who are bored and want to find a interesting, fun and safe for kids web site. This brightly coloured site is attractive and fun for everyone. There's many things to do and things keep getting added eveyday. they're not just the normal features such as jokes. It's truly original- one of my old favourite features is Harry Potter- surfers would send ideas for future Harry Potter novels in.     Bored.com is a website that hosts a huge load of links to other sites on the net. The point of bored.com is to make you not bored by providing you with these links in order to give you something to do! Pretty simple idea that works quite well and the site is quite a well known site on the internet now. (why can’t I come up with these kind of ideas!?) The site actually states ‘For when you have nothing better to do’ so it seems like a great website for when your bored in the office, but is it?     Got nothing better to do then why not visit Bored.com and get an incredible selection of links to some of the most interesting sites around. Bored.com are available at www.bored.com. The homepage consists basically of hundred of links to websites that provide a wide range of content some of which is extremely amusing and entertaining. You can either sift through all the links on the homepage or you can simplify your search by selecting a category. The links for these categories run down the left hand side of the homepage.     "When you have nothing better to do. Links to the most interesting sites on the internet" - that’s what bored.com say about their site, and there certainly is plenty of scope for killing a bit of spare time. You will find literally hundreds of links to a wide assortment of sites aimed at providing you with some something to do. Ranging from some totally pointless time wasting experiences, to informative and fun filled sites, it’s worth a look. The homepage features links to bored.com’s top rated sites.     This website gives you links to, what they think, are the most interesting sites on the Internet! When entering www.bored.com you will instantly be greeted with a whole page full of links to weird and wonderful sites with a short summary of what the website entails. For instance, www.freakydreams.com. Here, you can find out what your dreams mean by using the online dream analyzer. And if you like popping bubble wrap (and who doesn't!), then go to the virtual bubble wrap site when you can pop the stuff with your mouse.     I thought I would check this site out, it’s for people who are Bored and it might sound stupid but the Internet even though with so many sites can become boring. The site is quite good and certainly fill the gaps if you get Bored. It provides you will links to a whole variety of site so ‘when you have noting better to do’ the slogan for the site, you can check some of the sites out.     Thank goodness I found this website when I did. I’ve been off work today; I have a really horrible cold and feel generally unwell (aahhhh I hear you all say!). I know I should be in bed getting better, but somehow for some reason I can’t sleep anymore. I’ve watched as much day time TV as I can handle and as I’ve said in another op there is only so much of The Sims (PC game) I can play. Time to surf the web and find something to amuse myself with, and this is where I found bored.com. What a fantastic website! It loads up very quickly and on the whole it is ironically quite a boring looking site ... more
