I ordered a Gelert Meridian 10 from Camp Mania on Tue. Their website said it was in stock. Speaking to other stockists later I was told that there probably isn't a Gelert meridian 10 left for sale in the country, they have been so popular! I needed the tent by Fri (not a problem with Camp Mania's 1-3 day delivery promise, thinks I) but wanted to reassure myself so called Camp Mania first thing on Wed. I needed quite a few camping items because I have never been camping before. I found Campmania on one of the search engines and decided to call them (particularly after reading some of the reviews). I was connected immediately and was transferred to one of their camping experts who advised me of what I actually needed (not what I thought I needed)! Their site looks quality and reputable however having placed an order, all items in stock, 5 working days later I have had no items delivered, no repsonse to 2 emails and cannot get through to anyone on their telephone line. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Item described as "in stock" and delivery as "next day". Item was still "awaiting allocation" three days later. Tried calling all day (from 9 through to 4) for three days after item should have arrived. No answer from landline (after letting phone ring until BT automatically disconnects the call or engaged tone) or to emails requesting cancellation of the order. I have just had the same experience. Placed the order due to great price and next day delivery advertised on product page. I telephoned many times to confirm the next day delivery but the phone was never answered. The only email communication I've had following my attempts at contact via email was an automated one to confirm cancellation of my order - no apology for the non-existent customer service, nothing. I never got to value my ordered items as they were never delivered! My advise to everybody is AVOID EMANIA group like the plague!!!! The fridge case was cracked so I emailed back and then tried to comtact their helpline making at least a dozen calls a day over several days.
