    CD-WOW as a company have offered me mixed responses and given me a mixed opinion. Bathos is the best way in which I can describe the fall which the company took in my humble opinion! My relationship with CD-WOW began last year, as I was looking to buy some DVD's and CD's for my boyfriend. I am lazy, I admit it, I hate shopping. Most of us like music of one kind or another and I can’t help spending a fortune on CD’s each year! I used to buy most of my CD’s from HMV.     If you want a CD, pretty much any CD, then the first place you should go and try and get it is CD-WOW. If you go to www.cd-wow.com, you'll arrive at an online music store. This is how it's set out: **~~TOP 20~~** The Top 20 (I'm not sure if it's based on CD-WOW sales or chart sales overall) are listed down the left hand side of the front page. You have the option to add it straight to your shopping cart or find out more details.     Cd-wow.co.uk is a gem of a website, and now I've discovered it, I will never buy my CDs anywhere else. The site provides a service for all web shoppers alike. There is everything from top chart tunes to golden oldies, movie soundtracks and even new age or relaxing music. The best thing about this is that all CDs (unless they are a double CD) on the site are one amazing price of £8.99!Double CDs are normally £10.99 which is still brilliant.     CD Wow was the first cheap CD site I found and has, I think, just about managed to keep its lead, despite other sites now occasionally beating it on price. The key here is simplicity - they hold the top 75 CDs, and any single CD is £8.99 (unlike other places where only the top 10, or an eclectic "selection" is cheap). The range has spread beyond the chart music but you are still less likely to find an older or rarer CD here than other sites.     I know there have been opinions about this site posted on Ciao before, but I wanted to add my own observations and also some additional information to help you save money. cd-wow are an outfit based in Hong Kong and they offer some of the cheapest CDs around. For example, the latest Robbie Williams, Stereophonics and Kylie CDs are only £8.99. Others I've noticed for the same price include Beautiful South and Steps Greatest Hits, the new releases from Dido, Gabrielle, Madonna and S-Club 7. They also offer a 'bargain basement' where, for example you can pick up Oasis CDs for around £6.99 each ... more
