    Advantages Advantages Free make-up, skin and beauty products.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No remuneration. Trials fill up really quickly. Very poor customer service.

    ~~ UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2007 ~~ I hate lashing out my hard earned money on anti-wrinkle serums and "solve your cellulite" creams. That's partly because they are just so expensive, but mainly because I'm not really convinced that they make a great deal of difference. In all honesty, how can a cream (no matter what brand or how expensive it is) really work effectively against the twin bulldozers of gravity and time?     I joined cosmetic research online a few months ago, after reading a review here on Ciao about they way it gives its members’ free make up to try and then comment on. I am addicted to sites where they give out freebies, surveys for cash or anything else which benefits me for not actually doing that much, so I signed up straight away. Sue Ayrton Moon, who is a beauty therapist and a college lecturer, established the site in 1995 to encourage volunteers to try out specific products before they are unleashed on the general public.     I'm always a sucker for a freebie and not adverse to filling in the odd survey provided I know there will be something in it for me. Usually I prefer it to be cash, but free beauty products are always nice to have too, so I'm a fan of this particular site. Ayton Moon Consultancy (the company behind this website) trial products for some large companies, by sending out samples to folk like you and me, and asking us what we think of them.     When I wrote my topshop.co.uk review I read some high (and some low) rated reviews on other service providing websites. As an old user of the topshop site I did not want to miss out any important information that I might overlook as an accustomed visitor of the site.     If you want qualltiy cosmetics for free then this is the place to sign up! When i first logged in i thought it was a con as it sounded so good, but you really do receive them. The only problem is they have no labels on so it may result in lots of half empty bottles that you don't know whats in. The trial you have to do with the products usually last about a week and they give you lots more product then you need so if you like the product you have some left over to use leisurely. The products range from hand cream to make up to moisturiser to shampoo. It's great. And good quality products as ... more
