Dabs customer service dreadful, I feel cheated.

Advantages: cheap - fast delivery
Disadvantages: poor customer service, if something is broken, they wont accept it back.

I ordered a HP pavilion laptop from Dabs, and when I received it, had a broken scriber / pen holder, with parts rattling around inside the laptop. When contacting Dabs about this, they anoyingly do not hacve a phone service and have to contacted via dabs live assistance or via email. Via email they were exteremly slow to reply. VERY poor so far, the customer service is non existant, all auto reply emails, the phone number - an aitomated message, and the "live chat " function -BUSY.I placed an order for various bits and pieces, and paid by my visa card (note that they have the Verified by visa Sign at the bottom of the web page) and, after all the pain of typing in your verified by visa password, i then received an auto reply asking to confirm my address ...

Returns Service A Dream..Peace of Mind!

Advantages: Price, Delivery, On-line customer service facility
Disadvantages: Could Communicate their actions better-Need to check fragile items

Panasonic Plasma TV arrived, I signed for it, opened the box and yes...the screen was smashed. Started to fret - should I have examined the TV before letting the courier (UPS) go? Good customer service, good products, courier (DHL) a joke.

Advantages: Good products, competative prices, good sturdy products

Bought a computer case from Dabs.com and was shipped to me by DHL, i have actually yet to receive the item due to a screw up on the part of DHL which can be read about in my review of DHL. i have contacted dabs and the customer sales representative i spoke to is looking into it. Beware of Dabs.com - finance, return and customer service

Advantages: cheap, online and finance options
Disadvantages: bad customer service, you have to pay interest of faulty returned goods!

After a few weeks my monitor packed up and I contacted dabs for advice. They advised me to return the item and paid for the postage due to it being within 6 months. Personally I am also considering never using them again. I ordered speakers two weeks ago. Website showed items as in stock. Within 10 days I had received 6 change of delivery dates as items were not in stock. I emailed them, they have said delivery is now expected in another three weeks time, but their website is still showing as in stock. Never again. ...

DABS.COM- woefully poor customer service

Advantages: Easy to use website and sometimes price
Disadvantages: Sparse and POOR customer service+ No telephone line

Buying from DABS.com couldn't be easier, and delivery has always been prompt on all the times I have used them. However, if you have a problem with what you buy and need to return it, give up all hope of descent or even acceptable customer service. I had virtually the same experience as munrobasher. I ordered 2 print servers and when they did not arrive I progressed the order, to find that is was marked as having missed the delivery slot. The explanation of this was not available online, so I tried the representative chatline a few times - also not available. I sent a contact email and 5 days later I had no response. I eventually cancelled the order and bought from BT online - whose website looks identical to DABS - are they connected? So disappointing when I have previously used DABS quite often both for home and work. I can't think I'll be back! ...

We ordered an item on the 12th January 2009. We only ordered one thing but needed it urgently. Nothing arrived. We emailed them 4 times but there was no reply. Two weeks later they have replied to one of the emails asking us to clarify that the address they had was the correct address (it was). Our last order was a headache - arriving broken and returning it was nothing short of a nightmare. There are just too many good companies competing with this has been of an organisation to be bothered with them any more. They are not even on the phone! Uttery utterly rubbish. Never again. ...

Dabs - poor customer service

Advantages: Range and price
Disadvantages: Very hard to get hold of customer service

Once upon a time, Dabs was my (and works) preferred supplier. This week, their customer service is non-existant. Ordered an in-stock laptop on Sunday night for a friend and it's said "Awaiting processing" for three days. I've send messages asking what's going on, once every 24 hours. Their auto-reply says please don't send the message again but I'm sorry, if they don't reply withing 24 hours, they deserve another message. Not one reply yet in 3 days! ...
...no way to contact them. I just look like a real numpty... This level of customer service is pathetic and they deserve to go out of business... They still have a good choice and the price is competitive but this needs to be backed up by some level of customer service. eBuyer is much better at communicating. ...

DABS - RUBBISH NEVER USE AGAIN

...I ordered 5 items from Dabs.com totalling over £800, unfortunately one of these items was not in stock, however the dabs procedure allowed me to select, order and complete finance on all 5. After I returned the finance forms I was informed because they did not have one item, (not the main one by the way) they would not ship a part order and I would have to wait. I was told the out of stock item would come into stock within 2 days. Surprise 2 days ...
...further 5 days. NOT HAPPY!! After 4 days I was told that the item would never return and Dabs was going to cancel the whole order. Reasons I am unhappy are Dabs gave me no warning prior to completing the finance form they would not ship a part order. Dabs refused to adjust the order, adjust the finance, or offer an alternative. Dabs refuse to let you contact them by phone, you can only use online chat, which is useless because their advisers ...

ABSOLUTE DISASTER! WHAT A HASSLE! DELIVERY SUCKS! I've ordered a laptop from this website two weeks ago. On the checkout I was not able to choose any address but had to enter my own address, even though this purchase was meant to be a present for a different address. After that, I had to go through a process of address proofs by sending in copies of my bank statements. They said that the delivery would be in the next day but I still haven't received my order after 2 weeks-time. They work with HOME DELIVERY NETWORK and it is a DISASTER! They need to stop working with this network because it is awful. After having to go through such hassle with Dabs, now I have to deal with HDN. ...
