...it back. Customer Service at Debenhams.com were most unhelpful and rude. We spoke to Gemma, Reagan and Paul (Team Leader) at Sheffield office, no help at all.
Don't order from debenhams.com if you want an item not to damaged. Don't order if you want a friendly customer service because you won't get it.

...was the couriers fault but debenhams.com seem unable or unwilling to resolve them when they do, instead they have just compounded them. The customer service has been absolutely awful, I still do not have my refund or even a half-hearted apology for not cancelling the remainder of my order as I'd requested.
I would never consider shopping with debenhams.com again. ...

Very very poor. We ordered a sofa bed and some tableware and were told that there was a 4 week wait for the sofa bed. That was fine and the tableware arrived a few days later but after 5 weeks no sofa bed so rang to be assured that the suppliers were just about to send it out. A week later still nothing so rang again to be told the same and this morning rang to find that the couriers had tried to deliver twice last week and had then returned it to the warehouse.
I work from home so I know that they did not try to deliver and there was NO communication from Debenhams at all. They lied to cover up their mistakes! It's pathetic! ...

...we wouldnot have been able to have 2 matching cases in the first place, I would have cancelled the order.
This has really tainted my opinion of Debenhams.com and I doubt that I would ever use them again. If only they had been honest in the first place.... ...

Advantages: Easy to use, good selection, helpful customer service. Disadvantages: Delivery times quite long, not all brands available on the site.
As I'm so fussy when it comes to clothes (they can't be too big, too small, too tight, too baggy, too bright, too dark, etc.) I normally find it's best to visit an actual store so I can try on clothes before buying. But there's nothing worse than finding a perfect item to only discover that they don't have it in your size, and nothing on earth is going to let you squeeze into the size 10. So this is what led me to try the Debenhams website to buy ... ...The home page of the site features the season's main items or advertises any special offers Debenhams is currently running. Along the top and bottom of the page are lists of options which will take you off to various sub sections of the site. The home page itself is visually appealing with a lot of bright colours normally being incorporated and yet it still retains a sense of simplicity at the same time too.

Up until about 2 years ago, I was what was known as an Internet shopping virgin. Most, if not all of my shopping was done offline and this suited me down to the ground. I am very fussy when it comes to carrying out purchases, I like to see and touch what I buy, but this all changed at the touch of a button.

Debenhams web site is well presented and easilly navigated if not a little slow and after a computer update and broadband installation i am finally sure its not me.
The range of goods on offer is good although limited espeshially the childrens ware.
I absolutely love the store and buy most of my clothes from the designers at debenhams range which is brilliant and icludes designers such as Jasper conran(great for casual clothes jumpers and jeans ... ...stylish),lullu guiness(fabulous handbags),John richmond(well cut suits and cool t shirts)and many noteable others including ben de lisi,anna sholtz,peirce fionda and janet reager.

Fantastic!! Enter the bride or groom's name (or if they really want you to buy them pressies they will have given you the list number) and up comes their wedding list. Scroll down the list until you find something a) you'd like to buy them and b) you can afford. Make your selection and hey presto you have just bought a wedding present. There is an option of having it gift wrapped if you want. You also get to type in your personal message to enclose ... ...the fact that once you have made your selection they then charge £3.50 for delivery. Now my sister had over 50 items on her list and every one was bought and delivered at the same time in a van - I think it is a bit of a rip off to be honest. Debenhams are getting this business free. I am not a particular fan of the high street store of Debenhams, so was pleasantly surprised by their on-line facility. The first thing you will notice when you first visit, is that the site is very understated, no frills and no annoying flashing adverts here to distract ... ...Web trader Code of Practice’, so you can rest assured when shopping here.
You can browse the many departments at leisure or if you know exactly what it is that you require, then the ‘quick keyword’ search facility should get you the results that you need.
The main shopping categories are all displayed at the top of the screen and each comes with a pop down menu.

I must say it is exciting to receive a parcel through the post even though it was sent my you. The clothes come wrapped in tissue paper so it feels like Christmas and you are never quite sure of what you have bought as you have only seen the photo. Having recently aquired a Top Shop card which can be used at Debenhams I was more willing to shop on the internet as I didn't have to use my credit card. Ordering was simple, just click on the item you ... ...to check out and fill in you details. Delivery only took a few days and items are returnable.
One added bonus is that some items only appear on the web site and can not be found in store. I have therefore managed to find some clothes in the sale stock that I wouldn't have found if I had simply visited the store. ...
