    Dotmusic were the first people to set up a Geri Halliwell site when she first went solo, and this was my primary reason for originally visiting, amd since then it has been permanantly on my favourites list. They have hundreds of artist sites and give good, relevant information not biased gossip. Any newsworthy stuff to do with a national or international music star is there right away, and you can subscribe to your favourite stars area and get emailed when anything new arises.     For me Dotmusic is the best music website out there. It's just recently been done over with a new facelift which has made the site look even better. The site is updated daily with all the latest news and gossip which is accessable as soon as you log onto the site. You can even read archived news from months back. Many music artists have their own section on the site dedicated to them, so you can find info on any artist from Steps to Oasis. There is a review section where you can read about the latest single and album releases and reviews on live gigs. The shop is full of music of which you may ... more

    Advantages Advantages All the latest music, gig and chart news. Information on all types of music genres.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some single/albulm reviews are bias. The site can take a while to load.

    Dotmusic.com seems like the "place to be" to find out about the latest happenings in the music industry. I could not agree more. It has everything from Pop to Hiphop; the list could go on. Dotmusic is obviously aimed at a wide range of music tastes, it accommodates these different genres very well. Dotmusic is also diffidently not "Thin on the ground" when it comes to the latest music news and reviews. You also have the possibility of having music news send to you, containing the latest information on your favourite artist/band.     Disadvantages Disadvantages can be slow to downloadf pages . but then again isn't all the other web sites.

    I am quite new too this web site. I have only been a member for a few months. But in these few months that I have been a member I have soon discovered all the brilliant things they have to offer us. Specially the pop quiz compared to all the other sites you can actually have a bit of light hearted fun without paying or any other strings atached. You can also win prizes and get information about nearly every single artist and band there is . You can get there whole life story plus there discography. I think that people who are looking for some light hearted fun it's it.! ... more

    Advantages Advantages Very easy to navigate. Lots of information, up-to-the-minute news, good selection, a must for all true music fans.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages The chat can sometimes go a bit strange and occasionally you get offensive people on there.

    Well, on my first ever visit to dotmusic, i found it very easy to navigate and find what i wanted. The chat room was also probably one of the best i've seen...and that's a lot, apart from occasional idiots who come and go! The colours are actually very helpful. Also the forums are well laid out and it's easy to find what you need. The artists areas are also well presented and there is a very wide variety of artists, from the tweenies to eminem! The charts are updated weekly and are kept up-to-date, unlike some websites i've seen, who'd chart listing are around 3 years old! Overall a fun site ... more
