As the title of my opinion suggests, this computer package is really, really cheap.
Not just in terms of how much my hard earned cash I had to part with to buy it, but in general build quality and specification.

I recently bought an E-Machine 'E Tower 566cd' desktop computer. The spec for this is 64 mb SDRAM, 128kb L2 cache (66Mhz system bus), 15Gb hard drive, 48x CD Rom, 3d AGP Intel Direct Grahics, 56K modem, 566Mhz Intel Celecron Processor and a 3 1/2" floppy disc drive. It comes with windows ME.

Advantages: very low cost, good speed Disadvantages: terrible tech support, difficluties getting hardware configured.
I recenty assisted a friend (or tried to, anyways) set up a whole bunch of e-machines for his accounting office...
It was an unmitigated disaster and nightmare.
I expected to be 3 or 4 hours, but do to incompatibilities witht eh customer's existing network, the CRAPPY network card they sold him, and the impossible tech-support, I ended up being there for over 8 hours.
