Easily.co.uk has to be one of the cheapest if not cheapest domain registering company. I haven't tried their web hosting yet, as you may know from reading my article about portland.co.uk, I am trying to get free web hosting. I very recently bought a domain from easliy.co.uk. I had been referred to the site by Ciao and I have to agree that it is a very economically friendly site.
Even after I found easily I hunted the Internet for hours, searching ... ...when I checked back at easily.co.uk I realized that I could get a domain for only 10 pounds and a bit for TWO YEARS! What a bargain I think I'm gonna buy some! So I bought a domain for 2 years.
I am very happy with my buy and to top it all off, easily.co.uk was VERY quick about sending me the confirmation information. I filled out the order form and at most FIVE minutes later I had already received a confirmation e-mail telling me about some details ...

I recently wanted to register a domain name for my fledgling 'Make Money' pages. I had trawled about tne 'net for ages looking for a reasonable deal. There are so many services out there its difficult to choose. Then I remembered a review I'd seen in a computer magazine. I opened up my browser and pointed it to www.easily.co.uk and there it was. A simple way to obtain my own domain name (www.u4cash.com) and even better, you get a free .co.uk with ... ...+ vat) for 2 years. You also get masked or unmasked re-directing and 20 e-mail re-directors in the price, brilliant. All you need to do is have your domain name ready, which you can check on the site, and your credit/debit card. They will accept postal orders too. A great and simple service which I will definitely use again. PS. Just in case you think I work for Easily, I don't :-) ...

It was releaved when they added the 'URL Masking' feature earlier this year. Basically 'URL Masking' means that the .co.uk or .com address will alway remain in the title bar, and NOT the page it redirects to (Tripod etc..).
... ...that other doamin companies offer. Easily.co.uk do not let you enter Keywords or A descroption of your website, in what ias called the 'META Tags'. This can make submitting your .co.uk or .com address to search engines difficult.
All in all, I would recommend this service if you're after cheap (.co.uk £10, .co.uk £35) fast doamin names. And you don't mind submitting your site's actual web address (be it Tripod or whatever other depths you lower ...

I recently transferred my website to an EasilyMe account with Easily. I was attracted to them by their £9.99 offers on domain names and hosting. There was a delay after I had bought my accounts due to some sort of problem with the servers, so Easily have given out extra hosting time for free to compensate. Since everything came on line I have monitored it through internetseer, and have not had any outages yet. Uploading is quite easy, and is all ... ...though. It is ideal for beginners. As long as their pices do not rise too much I will continue to use Easily for the forseeable future, and have already recommended them to friends. There are newsletters about their services by email, but not too many so you don't feel hassled by them. Also explanations of problems and changes are very clear. Their email responses to problems and enquiries are very efficient, and there is also a telephone helpline. ...

Being an amateur web designer, getting cheap domain names is a must. As I am sure you know, if you bought your domain name through an ISP you pay a fortune in admin fees etc - even if the ISP is a free one (freeserve take notice!)
So when I was shown to Easily by a friend, I knew my dreams had come true (ok, its not that life changing!).
The major advantage to using Easily (other than the low low price!) is you don't store your website with them. ... ...your website and point Easily somewhere else.
And the same is true for email addresses, at £9.99 for 2 years, you won't have the hassle of changing email addresses again coz easily will forward your email where ever you want!
Great, but there is one problem that I am sure has already been covered.
If you use the frames option in easily, you cannot add Meta Tags or Header titles to your page... not a problem if you use the forwarding option, but ...

It takes about 5 minutes max to register a domain name (.com/.net/.org./.co.uk/.org.uk), and is the simplest and best deal I have found to register my domain name. The .co.uk domain costs £9.99 for 2 years with absolutely no hidden costs. You fill in credit card details and are sent an email of confirmation within minutes, allowing you to redirect to your existing URL instantly. This ... ...the account of your choice.

It's never been a problem moving domain names around and their search options are easy to use. I've had to use this lot many times over the last 6 years or so and I'm sure that most of the reviewers here are stooges. There's very little that's easy about easily, their interface has always been very confusing, with lots of tiny icons and legends all over the place with D's W's A's etc, it's all very cryptic. As for features as far as dns goes they're very lack lustre, you can only put in two nameservers if you want to put your DNS somewhere ... ...domain forwarding or hosting with them, both of which are very bad ideas. When you want to do a bit more you'll actually have to phone them up, which feels sort of provincial which I don't mind, but isn't a professional way of going about things. It's also really long winded.
The hosting is truly awful mass virtual hosting, where nothing works, it's not very secure and you're going to run out of memory if you try to do anything dynamic. So it's ...

Easily.co.uk - well what can I say ? I bought my first domain name 6 months ago and have had not one single problem with them.
Since then I've bought over 60 !
I've just heard they are to start web hosting, which is a service they were lacking.
They offer web redirection, email redirection, free DNS transfer and a host of other things.
Prices are very competitive and until recently they offered by ".com" and get a "co.uk", unfortunately that ... ...£35 (2 yrs), .net £25 (2yrs) and .co.uk at £10 (2 years) you can't really grumble.
I have recommended these guys to everyone, so much so I've joined there aff. scheme.
So,
If you have a domain name and don't want to get ripped off, head on over to easily.co.uk.

I have a considerable number of domain names, but don't wish to write & host web pages for them all. After trying some more expensive domain sellers, or some that wanted to charge for you to transfer the domain, or fill you full of banner ads, I found Easily. There prices are cheap, and presently you get one free .co.uk for every .com you purchase. The best bit is the Net Admin section, where you can park your domain, set up web forwarding to your ... ...transfer the domain to other servers. All free and easily understood. Plus if you only use them you get a list of all your domains. Domains are registered promptly and invoices sent immediately. I've also used support and the answers were immediate and helpful. They are a friendly lot with a helpful, cheap and intutive but quality site. ...

I have been using easily.co.uk for many years now - no real problems until recently. You can't sent mail to any yahoo address through easily. I wanted to know why and when the situation would be resolved - wrote to them first, they told me I should get people with yahoo address to give me another address if I wanted to contact them.
Help line/chat line always too busy - have never been able to get on it.
Then I tried ringing - waited for 35 mins ... ...problem is that Yahoo thinks easily.co.uk spams them. Seems there will be no resolution to the problem. He said lots of providers have the same issue with Yahoo. I told the easily manager that I was unhappy with their "service" and that I had waited for 35 mins to get through on the phone - he said I wasn't their only customer and that others had been ringing them at the same time. I thanked him for this info, said I would never have arrived at that ...
