I've been a seller on Ebay as warspite20 for years and have got very fed up with the continual policy and fee changes that appear to favour the buyer but in fact push up costs for sellers which is passed on to buyers. As muchas rivals are needed in the auction market, I cannot see eBid troubling Ebay too much. What differentiates them really?? I have been looking into all different types of auction concepts lately in the UK and am facinated by what's out there. Some do seem to be "unusual" others excellent concepts worth investigating. In my view, too many glitches for the serious seller; slow page turns, down periods and so on; not compatible with all browsers. The loss of visibility on Google searches is another problem; the loading of a buyer's items to Google by eBid was one of the real carrots used to atract sellers. Hundreds of people have been defrauded by Ebid's users. THere was a huge fraud about 5 years ago. Even though Ebid were repeatedly told the user was fraudulent, they refused to suspend his account and allowed him to continue trading with people. He disappeared with around £50-100,000 of people's money. Even after the event, Ebid refused to cop-operate with defrauded members, and their security was pitiful, allowing people to make transactions with ...

I find eBid brilliant,yes its tricky finding how its all works I found it the same with eBay when I first joined,I didnt know how to make a profile or edit my shop but after looking it up on google I found it was simple to do,if you click "my ebid" on the far right you will find options to edit your profile and stores there.The shops logo must be rectangle shape dont make a square one or it will looked squashed.You can upload photos in "my gallery" ...

Great I have the first gay store on ebid.co.uk auction site, with a one of payment, I can have my own gay int store in adult category, I also have another gay store without the 18+, Just waiting for a gay / lesbian store category to be put in, make my buyers easier to find me.
