    Now i know what your thinking when you start to read this, it must be a dear price because of the title, but its not, its just a terrible machine. First of all, you need to know the price, £399.99. Now that doesn't sound like a bad price nowadays for a P.C., but it is when you buy a Emachines 2210. About a year ago now i felt that i had enough money to update my personal computer that i have at my home. I was willing to spend around about £500 but i also wanted a printer.     Advantages Advantages Very Cheap.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Low end. Wont do too much. Very Basic

    This is a fairly cheap entry level pc. It isnt the most powerful machines on the market, but it is one of the cheapest. This machine is perfect for office type applications. Basic word-processing, internet browsing, that sort of thing. However anything too intensive and you need to look for a better machine. It can simply not compete in the high paced intensive world of modern gaming. It doesnt stand a chance. As for multimedia, the sound quality is avarage, but there is no MIDI/Gameport on the soundcard. The graphics are fairly poor. Also it has no DVD drive whatsoever. You cannot even watch ... more

    £399 buys you the following: Sliver black box containing: Intel Celeron 2.6GHz 128Mb DDR RAM 40Gb hard drive CD Rewriter drive 32Mb Shared graphics 6 x USB connections Monitor: 17" CRT Software: Microsoft Works 6.0 Microsoft Money 2003 Windows XP Home APPEARANCE All in silver black (which matched the Lexmark 1160 all in one printer/pcopier/scanner I purchased (half price as part of the deal) with it). SETTING UP The emachine guide and setup disc was easy to follow and I set it up reasonably easy. Monitor - good quality but if you can afford one get a TFT screen.
