    Sign of the Times It’s hard to think of a more wasteful, depressing use of the planet’s resources than mobile phones. It’s not that they’re not worth having (although some would argue the case). It’s more the case that we’ve entered an age when what is a relatively expensive, technical gadget has become utterly disposable.     I must admit, that like most people, I tend to have lots of things around the house that has now either been replaced by a 'newer' model or simply not used for months on end. However, being a hobbit, I cannot bear to throw things away, knowing that in theory, they might become useful at some stage.     Advantages Advantages Easy and quick to use. Money back for old phones and good for recycling.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None really, maybe value of some rarer phones could be higher.

    There's always a time when we could do with a little extra cash now and then, and whilst there are a plethora of ways to make small amounts of money on-line, one of the quickest ways to generate a nice lump sum is to sell your old mobile phone to one of several mobile phone recycling websites.     For those of you who’ve never heard of Envirofone then you’ll be pleasantly surprised if you have any old mobiles lying about the house. They basically pay you for your old mobile and they recycle it at no extra cost to you. They even pay for your postage and packaging as well so you have nothing to lose!     Envirofone i'm impressed! I'm not sure how I came across envirofone, but i'm very pleased I did. What do envirofone do? In a nut shell Envirofone recycle old phones. We all know that it is good to recycle, with envirofone you have an added incentive to do so- they will pay you hard cash, or Argos vouchers for your efforts. Envirofone claim that they have paid out over three million pounds and continue to pay out thousands each week.     Well, my experience begins at Christmas, in a way. My hubby bought me an Iphone for my pressie, but thats for another review! I had a Samsung D900 previously, its 18 Months old. My last phone I sold on Ebay & got a few pennies back, but when I checked Ebay out they werent going for an awful lot of money. So I thought no more about it.     WHO IS ENVIROFONE.COM? I have just recently used the service of envirofone.com, you basically give any old mobile phones to them through the post which is free and in return they give you a bit of cash. Simple! The company recycles parts of old mobile phones and therefore helping the environment hence why they use the word “enviro” in their company name.     A friend of mine told me about www.envirofone.com when I was considering selling my old mobile on Ebay. She said that this company recycles the mobiles and gives you cash or Argos vouchers for them. This sounded a lot less hassle than Ebay and with a guaranteed price for my phone so I logged onto their website.
