Rubbish - avoid them like the plague. Ordered an Otterbox on-line, with a 1-4 day delivery date via Royal Mail. Received my e-mail confimration saying my item had been shipped the next day. Wait the alloted 4 working days, because I know Royal Mail have their moments, then phone Expansys. I was told that it was shipped the day of my order, but from the US!!! Estimated delivery should be within 21 days, but if it hasn't come by then, call us ...
...told I couldn't until the item arrived, and I could then send it back and get a refund. This is of course a lie. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you can cancel at any time. Two weeks later, I'm still waiting, and their website still shows the item I wanted as being in stock at their Central warehouse in Slough, which is not true. ...

I already own an iGo Wallpower charger, with which I'm very happy. I wanted to collect the right power tips so that when we travel I need to carry only one charger rather than the motley collection of chargers, cords and adapters we normally need. Expansys were the only place in the UK I could find this particular tip for my wife's Palm M515. Having ordered it, my order sat for a few days with a future expected delivery date. ...said they'd get one shipped from the US as a special order. Not only did they do this, but they kept me fully informed about when I could expect it. All for an item that cost under £4 including shipping. In my opinion this is great customer service and I'll happily use Expansys again (and again...) I ordered an item from them and waited for 2 weeks with promises from them both via email and over the phone that the item would be in within 5 days after already having waited 5 days. Note that during the whole 2 weeks of my ordeal, the site showed that the item I ordered was in stock but once you placed the order, the status of the order is awaiting stock, but website still shows item as in stock. ...still is that they brazenly lie about their stock on their website, and make no effort to correct it even after they know there is an order that they can't fulfill. They did not respond to the email, so I sent them another one. I ordered a WII + Sports and the WII Fit + cover. Found out after that was not all in stock but I held out for whole shipment. Friday before Xmas requested part despatch, arrived next day. Day before Xmas Eve called to say thankyou for first delivery and how was the balance of order doing to be told end January 2009. However it arrived the next day! I must say I'm very disappointed with eXpansys. I bought an OQO 01+ for a good price in spring this year. The device was often broken, but that's not what annoys me (it's OQOs device and not eXpansys'). Last repair is a great example: I phoned eXpansys, they told me to send the device in with a detailed error description and they would repair it. Well, I did so, but when my device came back (after 1 month...), it was still not repaired. That's what eXpansys calls service, well done. So, be careful when buying there. Expansys got good prices, but no service. ...

Stay away from this company! They ignore the law and despise customers! I bought an MWG Atom Life pocket PC phone for over £200 on 4/05 - it broke down by 19/06. I filed a claim under my legal consumer rights and got a replacement which they called 'an act of good will'. The replacement, which I got on 26/06 broke down within 4 weeks again.
