    Disadvantages Disadvantages None for us

Next week me and my husband are having our son Jayden christened, we have quite a big guest list with all of our friends and family attending and a lot of them have been asking what they can get Jayden as a present. My Nana recently asked us this as she wanted to get something that he could use, the only thing we could think of was a bouncer but the one we liked was quite expensive so my Auntie and Uncle decided to club together with my Nana and Granddad to buy it for him, that way they could buy him a present that he could use and was something we wanted. The bouncer we decided on was the ... more

Advantages Advantages Fun, bright, excellent quality, educational

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, limited use, static

Once my twin boys had got a taste for sitting up and watching the world go by, they started to become more adventurous and wanted to be completely upright and stood up. At 4 months old this was something that they were no way capable of doing themselves and mummy (me) was not able to have them held up in this way as much as they demanded as a) I didn't have enough hands or b) the energy to be holding them up in this way so my parents decided to buy us a Fisher Price Jumperoo. ***Fisher Price Jumperoo*** The Fisher Price Jumperoo is basically a static baby activity centre which allows you to ... more

Advantages Advantages Great all round fun, entertainment for hours

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very bulky, not suitable for small houses

I first noticed the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo in a catalogue while I was pregnant with my son, I thought that it looked great fun, colourful and with various activities to keep a little one amused. I was very lucky that when I came off on maternity leave my colleagues had bought this for me, this was definitely a bonus as it costs around £80-£100 and when there are so many essentials to buy for a new baby this is a lot of money to spend. Assembly The Jumperoo comes packaged in a large and heavy cardboard box - it is best to have two people to carry this – and it is definitely not ... more

Advantages Advantages great fun for babies

    Disadvantages Disadvantages the expense

When our son started to hold is neck up unaided (at about three and a half months) while lying on his belly to have a good nosey around we decided we needed to get him something so he could have a good old look around the room. My sister had recommended the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo, as her little girl absolutely loved it! I must say the price did put us off slightly as we thought it was ridiculous to pay that amount of money for something our son would really only get the benefit of for a couple of months! However that train of thought only lasted about two seconds and the old Visa ... more

Advantages Advantages Quality materials, fun activities, bright colours

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, short life?

My son was given quite a bit of money for his recent christening, so after depositing most of it into his bank account we decided to buy him a 'large' toy, something special, that we usually wouldn't spend the money on ourselves. After looking at loads of activity center type toys, my hubby and I had both decided upon the Fisher Price Rainorest Jumperoo, we loved the bright colours, swivel seat and the fact that it bounced! The price was the least attractive thing, but compared to similar products, it looked very solid and sturdy with quality materials, definitley worth paying extra for. What ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages large expensive

A jumperoo is probably one of the largest pieces of equipment you can buy for a baby. It does look very exciting and you can see it's appeal but I think unless you have a high tolerance level for annoying noises and have a very large space to put it you will wonder if it was worth the money. They cos around £80 brand new which is an awful lot of money for what is a toy. It is a seat which is suspended on the frame which is made to look like a rainforest with it's leaves and random rainforest creatures hanging down. This seat workers like a bouncer as your baby pushes off the floor it will ... more

Fisher price have brought out this amazing jumperoo toy suitable for babies from approx 5 months old and it's great! The jumperoo is quite like an indoor bouncer but within an activity station so your baby can jump and also play with toys at the same time. The rain forest one is designed to look like a rainforest. It has parrots and monkeys and elephants (not too sure that you can find elephants in the rain forest though!) and frogs all around. It has flashing lights, rattles, bendy toys, flying toys, toys which jump up and toys that can be spun around. The baby sits in the middle of the ... more

Advantages Advantages Sturdy and safe, bright, good at developing skills

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite pricey

The Fisher Price Jumperoo was bought for us by Bobby's grandma when he was 6 months old. This is an interactive bouncer for babies who are starting to be mobile (can lift their heads up/sit up). This cost £100 from Mothercare and does require batteries. The Jumperoo is a stand alone bouncer, which is different to the more traditional ones which are hung from a doorframe. It is a jungle themed musical bouncer which suited us as Bobby seems to have had jungle themed everything since he was born! This is self assembly, but is very easy to put together. The bouncer has a metal ring at the bottom ... more

Advantages Advantages Durable, fun for baby, Erin loves it

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Bulky

My little girl turned six months old during the summer and to celebrate her half year milestone, me & my boyfriend decided to have a little family get together. While I had a feeling that Erin would recieve a few gifts I thought that they would all be little bits and bobs rather than big presents, so I was quite suprised when my Mum arrived with a gigantic box that my boyfriend had to help her carry in from the boot of the car! The present ended up being the Fisher Price jumperoo which I had wanted for my daughter for a while but as she already had a door bouncer, bouncey chair and a play gym ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to clean, plenty to do to keep baby entertained

Disadvantages Disadvantages Seat unit is a little tricky

When we found out we were expecting a boy we knew exactly what products we wanted for him and his nursery and luckily he loved them just as much as we did. The Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo is our latest purchase and we picked this up second hand from Ebay as they are quite expensive brand new at £99.99. The Jumperoo is a baby jumper which contains a seating unit similar to those found in baby walkers. The seat in the rainforest jumperoo is a padded tree frog and is quite high at the back of the neck to help support baby's back. The seat unit moves 360 degrees to allow baby to jump around ... more
