    In order to earn rewards during your travels through cyberspace, it is expected that you give something in return - there is after all no such thing as a free lunch. At some sites they require you to join them or visit on a regular basis, at others you visit advertisers or give valuable consumer market research information. Not at flipside.com though.     I wish I could describe Flipside.com as flipping marvellous and not just because of my morbid fondness for bad puns. Flipside is a wonderful idea. Play games for free, win flips and then spend the flips on the various prizes they have on offer. There are two main ways in which you can spend your flips. You can collect thousands and trade them directly for books, computer games, CDs, etc. You can also bet a small number of flips 5, 8, 20, etc and enter a prize draw.     Flipside.com is another internet site which provides a number of web based games with which to while away a few hours. The main site is found at www.flipside.com, which is the American site, but there are links through to more local sites in Europe including the UK...which is the same as the US site but with a much friendlier atmosphere - although of course, less players. You get a variety of different games here to amuse yourself with, ranging from single player games, to those which can involve a number of players.     UPDATE: I originally wrote this opinion thinking I would never receive the prize which I claimed for my points. However, I did eventually get it, three months after putting in my claim. In the interim, the system at Flipside has changed. You can no longer exchange points directly for a prize, but need to use them to enter into lucky draws for prizes. Flipside is a site where you can play a variety of games. Depending on the game, you either play solo or against other players. There is a large choice: you can play solitaire, arcade games, word games, memory games, etc, etc. If you want to play ... more

    Hmmm. Lots of titles for a negative op. about this site seem to spring to mind, but they're probably best left unsaid. What oughtn't to be left unsaid is that the UK version of this site has drawbacks, though so too does the parent site. The main flipside.com site has the significant drawback that every time you access certain pages a new browser window pops up to persuade you to sign up for some other site.     Now this is a site for all of you with unlimited Internet access, you need to be online to play so therefore at even local phone rates this can be expensive. I would therefore recommend any of you paying for your Internet phone calls by the minute to give this site a miss, unless money is no object. For the rest give it a look but remember you have been warned it can be quite addictive!!. So what does this site have to offer, well errr games, games and more games.     I came across this site “Flipside.co.uk” recently, through having an Trade Doubler affiliate link on my web page, so I joined, and actually got paid £1.50 by trade-doubler for my troubles, which was an added bonus, so anyone out there that has a web page and have signed up for “CIAOS” affiliate partners “Trade-Doubler”, I suggest you get a link on your web pages for this, then just sign-up yourselves, and get the £1.50 for your troubles.     Flipside.com is a games site where you earn flips for playing games,then you enter the flips into different prize draws,for example 1 flip gives you 1 entry.Its free to play and is available to play in England,France,Germany and the U.S.A. You register in the usuall way, your name,password,username,email address and so forth. Some of the games arn't flip enabled so you cant earn flips but they are still good fun to play.Flip enabled games are indicated by a little yellow square next to the game title.     Flipside is an online games channel where you play games to try and win flips. Flips are points which can be exchanged for entries into monthly prize draws. On Flipside there are a wide variety of games in several different catagories. The board games section has games such as backgammon, draughts, chess and dominoes etc. The card games section has games like hearts, patience, bridge etc and the brain games section has games like wordox, hangman and roof rats.     UPDATE - When Flipside is up and running (not had any luck getting on to the site tonight) you can now earn flips for playing Wordox. If you score more that 40 (I think can't check as site down) your get 1 point but if you win you get 2 flips. Flipside.com is very addictive. I have been a member for some time now but not really got into any of the games until a few weeks ago. I would normally go for the games that I could win flips on like Roofrats, Video Poker, Flipstacker, Couples, Fruit Machine and so on.
