Advantages: Diversity of bets, No bookies involved, tremendous fun Disadvantages: None
Move over bookies Flutter.com is here.
I had heard about this site from a number of my friends but only actually visited it yesterday.
As far as betting goes and as far as betting with your usual bookmakers, to use the word “different” is still an understatement.
Flutter.com has added a brand new dimension to betting.
The idea arouse when the founders Josh Hannah and Vince Monical agreed on a fun bet at a party. Josh lost on that ... ...fun of person-to-person betting.
Flutter.com has recently raised $39m in a private round of financing. Its investors include: Europ@web, UBS Capital, Chase Episode 1, Index Ventures and Benchmark Capital. Flutter.com gives you the opportunity to bet with other punters in a bookie-free environment. This basically means that you can obtain much better odds than any bookie could possibly give you.
It also gives you the opportunity to bet on any event ...

~ ~ Fancy a bet on Elvis being discovered working in Burger King before July of this year?
Or a bet on the chances of aliens attacking a major European city.
Maybe you think you know who’ll win the sexiest male Soap star in this year’s awards, or who winner of the next General Election will be.
If you believe in the existence of the Loch Ness Monster, you can gamble on her existence being proved beyond doubt, or on her being caught ... ...very small selection of some of the more “off the wall” bets you can make when you join a new betting website called www.flutter.com.
~ ~ Now if there’s one thing in life I must admit I really enjoy then it’s a little gamble.
So I was delighted to find this site recently, as it is far more fun than your average online bookies.

Advantages: Better odds than bookmakers. You're up against people like yourself. Site runs beautifully on PCs. Disadvantages: Won't work on a Mac. Commission on bets and withdrawals maybe a bit high.
Betting has never been a way of making money but having money at stake on something (for example the recent England vs Greece game), can make it so much more exciting.
Since the Internet betting revolution began most of my online bets have been made at Flutter.com. The simple reason being that I take far more pleasure out of winning someone else’s money than that of a bookmaker. On the other hand if I lose I’m safe in the knowledge that my money ... ...than Ladbrokes’ favourite Swiss bank account.
The concept is, I’ve found, initially quite difficult to grasp. Imagine though a simple bet you make in the office with a colleague as to whether he will pull a certain female that evening. The bets for a tenner, i.e. if he scores you give him a tenner and if he doesn’t he gives you a tenner. Naturally the bird just wants to be his friend and you’re a tenner up the next morning. More to the point though ...

Advantages: A simple, fun, colourful website. And a great betting concept. Disadvantages: You often find some really stupid odds being offered. People who have no idea about betting! {as though I'm experienced! ;-)}
...I had been a flutter.com member for a short while and found it very fun. I bet quite a lot (not vast sums, but reasonable amounts...beer money etc) and love betting and sports (bad combination I hear you mutter! -I know-). I had won the odd £20-£30 and had obviously taken advantage of the free £10 for initially joining... so I had not used any real money and was now in position of enough finances to make a night of it! A few beers, a curry etc...
... ...the time, flutter.com were offering a free £5 bet to have between yourself and a friend who you introduce to the site and who then register. The winner of your little wager would then get another £5. This could only be done once per member for obvious reasons. It was a great incentive for new members and probably gained flutter.com thousands more registered members. A great thing for the entire flutter community.

Flutter.com is a great site for a small time gambler. More often than not, the odds on offer are much better than those offered by bookmakers.
I started at flutter.com with an initial investment of £10 and have only made small bets since then (2 or 3 quid). The most i have staked to date is £15 on an evens favourite. However, i have managed to earn over £50 in less than a month betting on once or, at most, twice a day. The best way to win on this ... ...lot about, e.g. football or greyhounds or whatever. For me this is horseracing (as my opinion on the subject shows!!) i make one selection in the morning, or evening, before racing and then i bet on it. Generally i ask for slightly better odds than i expect so, for a horse which is roughly 1-2 i will ask for evens. Most of the time these bets are matched, that is the beauty of the site, there is always somebody willing to oppose your choice. This ...

www.flutter.com, is a gambling site with a big difference. You are placing bets with other members and not with an online bookmaker.
When you first come across this site, you are offered a "free" £5 bet against the choice of four people. When you sign up,which only takes a few minutes and are requsted to have a user name and password as is normall with web sites. Once your account has been opened, you are credited with a ten pound(£10) bonus just ... ...about evrything you can think off. From footbal matches to cricket or the general election. When you decide what you want to bet on, you click on the bet and then are given a list of other members who will give you odds on certain scores, or first goal scorer.
If you win your bet your account is credited with your winnings, if you loose your bet,the person you bet against wins your money. A nice feature is that you can make up bets for people to ...

Advantages: One to one betting, £10 sign up pressent Disadvantages: None really, apart from the fact that you can lose money.
Flutter.com is an online betting site. However, flutter is different, your not betting against a bookie, your one to one betting against somebody else who uses the site. Therefore, there is no bookie to take huge amounts of commission and also, you get better odds as they are not set up by the bookie either, it is all individual people that you are betting against. - SO WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT Well, I’ve already said this above. Anybody can ... ...take your bet. Flutter.com will then take a percentage of the overall money (say you can win a total of £10, they normally take about 20p out of that money, so you can win £9.80) to go towards the running of the website and paying their staff. You can bet as much as you like, well, if you are laying a bet you can, so long as you have the avaliable funds in your account to pay the people who take your bet if, sadly, you loose. You do have to bet something ...

BETTING JUNKIE
As an addict to just about anything where you can earn money from the Internet I LOVE THIS SITE. I started betting while bored at university with Ladbrokes and William hill. I won about £20 in my first two weeks and was hooked. I then discovered that there are thousands of online betting sites where they offer you free bets etc upon registering. I quickly gobbled the offers of www.bluesq.co.uk, www.surreysports.co.uk, eurobet.co.uk ... ...for what I could I would more often than not just leave and return only if their were special odds etc. (dooyoo betting site is very good for this – NOT THAT I EVER VISIT DOOYOO…honest ) AND THEN I SAW HER FACE
So I came across flutter. I had actually heard of it from some of my dodgy mates at uni but saw it advertised on a free website. The £10 offer was very good and I also won a free £5 with an absolutely stupid bet. I won my £10 ...

If you have ten minutes to spare, drag yourself away from ciao and register at flutter.com. Ten minutes is all you need to: register, get yourself a free ten pounds to bet, bet said ten pounds on something, have a free five pound bet on relatively simple (if you pick the right time to register) subjects and log off before returning to our darling ciao.

The site is very well presented (decked out in orange (i like) and blue) and quite easy to navigate. Flutter.com is fab. It's for people who wouldn't go into a bookies and know nothing about gambling. People who will enjoy this site (and I do a lot!) are those who might have a friendly banter with a mate that their team would beat their mate's team at whatever particular sport it is they are talking about. One inevitably says something along the lines of, "Put your money where your mouth is..." and this is where the banter ends. Not so with Flutter.
... ...bet (flutter) with you on practically anything, from sport to the FTSE100, politics to the age of tomorrow's page 3 stunner. Honest!
You can take flutters that have been left on the site by others. If there is nothing you fancy, you can offer a flutter of your own and wait to see if someone takes it. If they do, you get to see if you are right. If no one takes it, you get your money credited to your account again.
Also, if there is not a flutter ...

Flutter.com is not a bookmaker. This site makes its money by letting punters bet against each other and then takes a percentage from the winnings whcih I think is 10 percent.
You have two options to bet:-
1) You can take someone elses bet (ie They want Man utd to win and you want Chelsea) and you bet against the person who offers you a good price and matches the price you want to bet.
2) Or you can place a new flutter of ... ...against you.

The Loch ness monster also comes up!!!

Advantages: Excellent site, easy to use with better odds than the bookies Disadvantages: Too easy to become addicted. On-screen money seems like a number but remember it is still REAL CASH! Don't go betting what you don't have.
www.flutter.com This site is excellent for a little bit of fun, beware though as it can be addictive. It's a gambling site but with a slight twist. You gamble against people, not against a 'bookie'. Whats more, you can use the sites current offer, a FREE £10 bet! This is ... ...the site in order to obtain this cash. There is no fee whatsoever (monthly or otherwise). Indeed, the only catch is that if you win more than £10 from this initial bet (and you can split the £10 bet into two £5 bets or a £3 and a £7 bet or ... you get the idea) then the site takes the £10 back and leaves you with just the winnings to play on with. Flutter.com is one of the many betting sites now available to armchair gamblers, so why choose it above all the others? Well, I have to admit, being the capitalist, free-money-grabbing kind of person that I am (and also poor - I only graduated last summer) I joined this site on the promise of free money to bet with - £10 worth of free bets on registering, and a further £15 from various promotions run by the site since then. I thought this might be ... ...been decided, the people at flutter.com debit the loser's account, give the winner their money and take a small commision for themselves.
