Advantages Advantages Load it up on Saturday and follow the lot.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Pesky adverts

It's at times like this that I realise just how set-in-my-ways I am. Football365 sits on Mozilla's bookmark toolbar and gets a hit about 10 times a day. I know nothing will have changed and the news will be the same but when you love football, you have to be the first to know. And that's what Football 365 gives you. Footy news. But there is more than that and its features go on endlessly. Too many to mention. But I'll be as thorough as my own personal interest allows. By the way - if you don't like footy I bet you haven't read this far have you? News = The site scours the uk for the latest ... more

Advantages Advantages Concise, funny, regularly updated

Disadvantages Disadvantages Popups, popups and more popups

I've got to write this review because I've only just read rachelsratty review of the site in another section of Ciao and feel I need to balance the argument. I first heard about 365 about three years ago when journalist and pundit Danny Kelly was in charge of matters. It took a while for me to get around to going there but when I did it was obvious that this was a site Kelly had overseen. In depth news on all the top stories, statistics that would keep even the most ardent fan occupied for hours, opinions by top columnists (including Andy Gray, John Nicholson and Kelly himself) and fun ... more

Advantages Advantages Good for general footie info and heaven if you're a Premiership follower...

Disadvantages Disadvantages They seem to forget about the lowlier clubs...

I like football. No, scratch that, I love it. However I’m NOT a fan of the Premiership and it’s fancy schmancy prima donnas. My own club’s website is saved to my favourite’s list as is the one belonging to the Football League. But I’ve been challenged. Not to write about the sites I actually use, but about this one. I have visited this site once or twice in the past and found it a nightmare to use. Has my opinion been swayed by this enforced re-visitation? ~HOME PAGE LAYOUT~ First of all I must point out that the web address at the top of this page is wrong! This is not a good start… The ... more

Advantages Advantages Up to date news with some original features

Disadvantages Disadvantages There is too much information at times!

I like football, in fact I like most sports, but I love football, and this site is my regular haunt to catch up with all of the news in the wonderful world of football, and I certainly suggest that if you like football, or even if you only have a mild interest, then you head on down to this site, as it is jam packed with so much information you will be there for hours, reading about the team you support, which in my case is The Toon Army and also about the more general goings on with other clubs and their players. The site loads up reasonably quickly, but with so much information packed onto ... more

Advantages Advantages Great features and jokes. Good writers and opinionated columnists.

Disadvantages Disadvantages News no better than other sites. Still not certain about the layout

I first came across this site 3 or 4 years ago when I was looking for something football based, but without a link to another media organisation as such sites began to irritate me. I instantly liked its style and irreverence and I became a big fan. It was especially useful during my time abroad as it provides more than purely brief reports and news, as other sites do. Recently though, the site has changed its style and layout. Does this affect my opinion? Read on and see! Layout I liked the previous layout which changed a few months ago. At first the new colours and design irritated me but now ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to navigate, plenty of content

Disadvantages Disadvantages The tickers for live matches could be quicker

Some football-related websites can take themselves extraordinarily seriously, they are OK for stats and news but if, like me you enjoy footie and especially enjoy it when the players and people associated with the game being to take it and themselves a little bit too seriously, football365 is for you. Part of the 365 network which also covers competitions, news etc. this is a well presented, easy to get around web site. There is the serious side of course, breaking news is handy on a ticker which doesn't take you away from the rest of the site and exclusive interviews and reports. They also ... more

Advantages Advantages Constant updates, good information, fun stuff.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Cluttered layout, too many graphics if your link is slow

www.football365.com This website is for those fanatical about football, so much so that they “live football, eat football, breathe football” (but not necessarily drink cola) “Some people think football is a matter of life and death...I can assure them it is much more serious than that.” Bill Shankly, (Scottish footballer) 4 October (1981) I use this website at least once a week, normally on Mondays to check results and more importantly read or skim through the match reviews to see who scored or got assists so that I can check how well my fantasy football team is doing (very mediocre). I like ... more

Advantages Advantages Good articles with a mix of humour thrown in

Disadvantages Disadvantages Needs more pictures, better navigation

This is a site I like very much indeed. It has a good mix of news, reviews, fan feedback and humour. The humour is especially welcome as British football is almost in danger of becoming too serious for its own good. There is also a good mix of articles, both serious and funny, covering things from a number of differing angles. There are also a number of links, whether they be to fantasy league games to sports clothing manufacturers. On the negative side it appears that photos are kept to a minimum. This is disappointing as often after games you are looking to see pictures of the action ... more

Advantages Advantages great content - funny, intelligent

Disadvantages Disadvantages depends if you are a MUFC fan or not..... (read it and see)

This website is part of the sport365 family that includes several other sites similar in style. This site is a nice mixture of reporting, editorial opinion, reader opinion and tongue-firmly-wedged-into-cheek scampery at the expense of our overpaid prima donna football stars. Most amusing are their cartoons (I hope David May visits the site) and the Carlsberg sponsored media watch, hwere the site poke fun at other, generally less accurate or intellient, publications. The style of writing is witty, and the content includes all the name calling and scuttlebutt you'd hope to see from a football ... more

I’ve been reading Football365’s pages for a few years now and it’s still one of my favourites. Apart from anything else, it’s got to be the funniest football site around. At first glance this looks like most of the other football based websites with news, results, fixtures, league tables, competitions, quizzes etc. You can sign up to receive a free daily newsletter and test your trivia on-line against another other football fans (you get sent to Trivia365.com to do this). This site is probably most famous for two things, firstly, Danny Kelly (Danny Baker’s mate) writes for them. Secondly ... more
