freebies galore

AdvantagesGet Things for Free

DisadvantagesJunk Mail risk

"I was reading a bulletin board i had stumbled across whilst actually searching for free clip art (!) and someone had posted a message bragging about all the stuff they had obtained for free over the net. At first i thought i was about to read someones latest masterminded scam plan, but to my surprise they actually had visited a site devoted to obtaining free things. I checked the site out and was amazed at the amount of things that are on offer ..." Read review

Free money and stuff!

AdvantagesAll the stuff inside and the peperami guy.

DisadvantagesSome dead links

"Freeguide.co.uk is a really useful site, one of the only 'freebie' sites that has good content. It has a lot of good sections. You can also get a load of stuff sent to you - from eye-masks to a voice activated peperami thing. Everything on the site is free except maybe one thing- a pc game for a pound, but it makes sure you know this. It's an excellent site for a stop buy or a base for you cheapskates. Most sections have a large content and there ..." Read review

2nd Best free site on the net

AdvantagesFREE stuff and a great site layout

DisadvantagesSome of the stuff is pointless

"...anything I can for free. Freeguide.co.uk is a very good site and is for people who live in Britain. I have not ordered much off this site yet because I have been using freeukstuff but I will order some stuff off it in the future. I have managed to order and receive one thing off this site, which was an MP3 CD from MP3.com. The CD has over 100 songs on it and most of them are very good. The site has various categories, which I will list for ..." Read review

Best free site that I have found

AdvantagesThere is free stuff!!!

DisadvantagesAre there any disadvantages in free???

"...an even better free site. Freeguide.co.uk is amazing. It has every category for free stuff you can think of listed. I have listed all of the categories below: BETS: This section gives you websites where you can get free bets which range from £10 - £40. This is only for the over 18's, as children cannot bet on these sites. CASH: This lists many sites where you can be paid to surf, and competitions where you can win money. This is very helpful ..." mostly good

Advantagesloads of free things, some may be useful, you never know!

Disadvantagesoccasional end of offer, dead link, or US only

"This is one of the best freebie sites on the net that predominantly list UK sites and products. There were a few items i had my heart set on, but when i got to their site it had either finished it's free sample campaign or was american-based. Still, I think the site is well laid out, easy to navigate and the categories are easy to find. I do think that it should be updated more often to prevent dead links and disappointments. Most sites that are ..." Read review

Used to be SOOOO GOOD!

AdvantagesWell categorised.

DisadvantagesSlow

"Sorry to say this. This used to be my favourite site as it had regular updates with at least 4 or 5 competitions everyday. But nowadays there are few updates and only once a week so it's not very upto date in comparison to other freebie sights. Pages can take a long time to load so is probably the slowest of the freebie sites reviewed here. I have to say that it is a very nice site with good categories and it is relatively easy to browse the site ..." Read review

Freeguide is great!

AdvantagesUK Based!!! All on one site!

DisadvantagesCatalogues and competitions are not good freebies

"There was a time when if you were looking for freestuff on the internet, you could find hundreds of sites, but they all had a US bias. So much so, in fact, they were useless! FREEGUIDE was one of the first UK sites to offer freebies to us UK residents, and it's still one of the best. They do concentrate on free stuff - they also offer information on PAYS schemes and competitions, but on the whole they stick to what they are good at - offering free ..." Read review

free stuff

Advantagesexcellent site

Disadvantagesnone

"There are quite a few freebie sites, however there are very few that are actually worth writing about. Well, this is an excellent site and as the name suggests is a guide to 'free' stuff on the internet. It's a good overview of the best sites on the net, and therefore is a good site to bookmark because you will never know when you may want to find a free site. It's based in the UK so you don't get US sites which can be an advantage to many. There ..." Read review

The best freebie site

AdvantagesFree stuff!!!

DisadvantagesNot many; it's free!!

"I went to www.freeguide.co.uk as a result of a reading an opinion on ciao.com. It was highly reocommended and now I know why. It is an excellent site, well laid out and easy to navigate. Being a student and being skint most of the time this site was an Aladdins cave of treasures!! It has about 15 categories of free stuff, anything from free CD ROMS, vouchers, aftershave samples, free domain names and most important of all CASH!! I signed up ..." Read review

There's no such thing as a free lunch?

AdvantagesFree stuff!

DisadvantagesHow can there be disadvantages when it's free?

"Well, perhaps not, but there is such thing as a free rubber duck, sample of Nescafe, and Guinness football fun pack. This site provides a comprehensive and well designed index of free stuff on the web. Although there is nothing of huge use on the site, it is surprisingly gratifying to receive something in the post that you paid nothing for. I requested a Heinz ketchup badge, a sample of King of Shaves oil, and the aforementioned Guinness footie pack, ..." Read review

Something for nothing!

AdvantagesIt's all free!

DisadvantagesSome of the freebies aren't worth the effort.

"Freeguide points you in the direction of many freebies on the web. The site is set out in categories...so you can go straight to the things that interest you. Through Freeguide (a UK based site, so we Brits can get our paws on the stuff!), I've received free books, CD's, PC software, a £10 bet, mousemat, lottery entries, coffee etc etc. Being as lazy as I am, I only sign up for the freebies that are uncomplicated. I don't mind typing my name, email ..." Read review

Free stuff

AdvantagesFree stuff, updates

Disadvantagesnone

"Free guide is one of the most up to date free stuff websites, it is consistently updated, with all the latest freebies, The site is easy to navigate and fun to use. After you have gone through the site once and collected all the free stuff, you can visit back every few days and find out the newest stuff. The best thing about freeguide which sets it apart from other sites is the quality of the site and frequency of updates. Everyone in the Uk ..." Read review

What's happened?

AdvantagesGood Quality Free Stuff

DisadvantagesIrregular updates

"I started using Freeguide after freeukstuff stopped updating. I got SO MUCH stuff from here, including Macy Grays album and Half Life CD ROM. There is also some pretty weak stuff, like a "Pet goody bag" for example. Now, It seems as if freeguide is doing a freeukstuff on us and stopping with the updates. Maybe this is due to lack of freestuff on the net. Freeguide is reasonably easy to find your way around, although can be a little confusing when ..." Read review

The best things in life are free

Advantagesreliable, updated often, really free!

Disadvantagessometimes take a while to load

"...ONLY place to go is freeguide.co.uk After tiring of the overloaded American freebie market, I chanced upon freeguide and I've never had so much freebies before. So far I've had CDs (a top twenty audio CD and PC games), pet food, coffee, cosmetics worth almost £10, mousemats, book, magazines, cinema tickets, pens - I've had my share of useless items too but it's worth it for the good stuff. I've so far only found one or two links that did not work ..." Read review
