Its ok
Review of freeserve.com by

Advantages: Fast page download time
Disadvantages: Hard to connect to its severs during off peak hours
Freeserve offers a number of new packages to people who want to sign up to the net with them. There is the easy pay as you go option where you just pay for the cost of your local call connection for the time you spend online to your telephone provider, the off peak version, the off peak version using BTs Surftime and the Freeserve Time Unlimited option. All packages seem like good value to me as the site itself is great for content and the connection ...

FREE?
Review of freeserve.com by
Ringo
Advantages: Free e-mail and internet access
Disadvantages: Congested server, junk mail
Freeserve broke through into the server provider market with a way of giving their customers free unlimited e-mail and Internet access. They also provided free UK content, featuring news, sport and entertainment as well as 15 megs of web space. However, Freeserve did not live up to this 'miraculous' offer, and members soon found out that the connection became congested, their e-mail was full of advertisements and there had to be banners all over the ...

just right for everyone
Review of freeserve.com by
somebodyrandom
Advantages: easy to install, good for beginners
Disadvantages: none
‘Freeserve is the UK’s first choice for the internet,’ claims the little blue CD cover that you pick up from any Curry’s or ‘The Link’ shop. And to be honest I agree. The CD is very simple to install- you simply place it into the drive on your computer and click on a few buttons and away you go. The CD contains Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and a help file. The CD will automatically enter the dial up number ...

Freeserve by name but not by nature
Review of freeserve.com by

Advantages: Unlimited internet access for fixed fee
Disadvantages: 2 hr cut off. bad tech support.
Until recently I was a user of freeserve anytime, i was with them from 2000 when I first bought a pC. At first they were good and offered a reasonable service. But as time went on i found the service was getting considerably worse.
The service is 13.99, going up to 14.99 i have been told (they are always putting the prices up), and for that you get unlimited internet access day or night. But do you? apparently if they feel that you are a perpetrator ...

The SERVE is missing from freeserve
Review of freeserve.com by
jaritten
Advantages: NONE
Disadvantages: Poor customer satisfaction
I am from the US, and service is number one because if you can't or won't provide customer service then someone else will. I joined freeserve through there one month free sign-up promotional disc. To me...one month free means ONE MONTH FREE. I popped in their disc and continued through the process. I followed all the steps to join the anytime account. This gave me access to the internet. I then signed up for broadband service through the only provider ...

fsmail.net
Review of freeserve.com by
sharondyer
Advantages: Very User friendly
Disadvantages: None so far
I have many an email address collected over the last few months, many of which I do not use at all, but fsmail.net I have recently started to use quite a bit. I find it very easy to use and if you go away on holiday or not going to be around for a couple of days you can set up an Auto Reply system with your own choice of words.
I als ofind their Customer Services very helpful although very expensive to phone at around 60 pence per minute, to compare ...
