Advantages: Free membership, daily updates, valid offers. Disadvantages: New freebies only available to members.
Launched in November 1998, Free UK Stuff is essentially two sites in one: a 'public' site for old offers and a 'members' site for new offers. To save confusion, I'll just state now that it can be reached through five URLs as they've secured their name under the following domain endings: .co.uk, .net, .org, .org.uk and .com. Free UK Stuff is exactly what it seems to be: a collection of free stuff available in the UK. Any overseas hopefuls clicking ... ...The site is brightly coloured and easy to navigate; pleasingly, the text is contained within a bordered white area. I find it irksome having to read text on a coloured or patterned background. There are several banner/button ads but they are reasonably well integrated and do not interfere with perusing the site. There is currently one pop-up ad, which appears when you click on a freebie link. This is slightly annoying as freebies are displayed in ...

Advantages: Lots of freebies to choose from Disadvantages: Lots of sign-in pages
Yes, that's right, £350 vouchers, chocolate biscuits, chocolates, tons of cat food, pencil cases with rubbers and notepads, roll-up calculators, books, bubble baths, toners and cleansers, shampoos and conditioners, Pepperami sticks, Cif window wipes, a letter weigher, sweets and magnets are just some of the things I have received since I joined this site.
I love freebies and this site is brilliant for freebie lovers. I think it is always encouraging ... ...freebies.
~How I became a freebie addict~
My quest for freebies started when I received a Pepperami through the post. I received this after following a link on a competition page (I am also a dedicated comper, but don't get me started on that topic that's another report I will have to write in the future). I know, I know it was only a Pepperami and it's not as if I'm even particularly fond of Pepperami (I gave it to my sister), but it was just ...

Advantages: you wake up to lots of pressies every morning Disadvantages: you do get some totally useless stuff
This site is the best ever! Freebies galore and none of that filling out the whole form then seeing it says "US ONLY" at the bottom! This ones made specifically for the UK which is precisely why it’s so good, as it means all freebies shown are available to you (if you live in the UK that is!)
There is something for all ages on and the range of freebies is brilliant, they’re giving away everything from toiletry samples to free software.
... ...am on it day and night ordering allsorts; often the stupidest things such as today I received some samples for address labels! Why would I ever need address labels? (By the way they had other peoples addresses on not my own to add to there usefulness!) I don’t own my own home let alone my own business, so why, you might ask did I feel the urge to order them in the first place? Well this is just a tame example of the powers of freeukstuff! It ...

Advantages: you get something for nothing. For once! Disadvantages: You many not actually get it though!
I'm sure I need not explain the concept of this website, or infact other sites like it, so I will just start by explaining why I believe this site to be one of the most comprehensive uk freebie sites around today.
I came across this site around a year ago when I was going through one of my "I'm gonna be a tight-fisted b****rd and try and get as much paid for as possible" phases. Well I think I'm still going through that phase, as I've almost become ... ...thanks to www.freeukstuff.co.uk!
The structure of this site to begin with seems a little strange, but then you begin to realise that the person responsible for it has split it into two sections (effectively two sites). One being the public site, and the other being the members site. Becoming a member is easy, and just requires you to give them your email address for a newletter. Then you can log into the members site with ease. The difference between ...

Advantages: Source of freebies. Disadvantages: Not always uptodate, concern over what companies will do with the info you provide.
Sex sells, scandal generates interest and freebies get the punters rolling in. Most of you at some point will have had a freebie from a company, companies are always giving out free gifts in an attempt to lure you into their fold of loving customers. You get a freebie - they get a possible customer for life.
The problem for those who like these gifts, has been finding out who is giving them away - a problem no solved thanks to the Internet.
Sites ... ...companies that are falling over themselves to give you a freebie. The site itself, has a members area and public area, I strongly suggest you simply ignore the public area, as it is not updated very often, so will just result in you wasting time on out of date offers.
You may struggle with the registration process, I did, but it may have been a one of problem, but once registered you are emailed a password and userid (I have a suspicion everyone ...

Advantages: You can now learn the Klingon language without attending university in America Disadvantages: Do you really want to admit that you sent away for a set of pet pyjamas?
There are several words and phrases in the English language that evoke strong emotions, I have in my infinite wisdom decided to name but a few.’ I love you’ seems to have caused more reactions than most and ‘take me roughly and make me beg, you bronzed love god’ is another (or is that just me). ‘Would you like fries with that?’ has probably set more stomachs churning than ten pints of beer, three milkshakes and ... ...Nemesis. But I do feel that the word that causes the most heads to turn, the most eyes to light up and the most wallets to remain firmly in their rightful place (in my case, a heavily guarded vault) is the following one;
Free.
Seems like a little thing doesn’t it? Have a think for a second. How many times have you accepted something you never wanted, would never use and would probably discard immediately after accepting it just because it ...

Advantages: Everything is really free without gimmicks, No spam mail Disadvantages: None really
Free-UK-Stuff is undoubtedly, as the name states, a website that provides links to many free products and services available in the U.K.
This site is tailor made for the U.K. and I presume is the first one to be so. There are many sites offering free stuff but most of these are based in the United States.
You can access the site at www.freeukstuff.co.uk.
Once on the homepage you are given three options:
1) General Public Site (No membership needed)
... ...(It doesn’t cost a penny)
If you select the first option i.e. General Public Site, you will be able to view all free offers. However these will be listed here two weeks after they have appeared in the Members Only Site. By this time it is right to believe that many of the offers may be over or some of the more lucrative products available might have been substantially reduced.
For first time visitors to this site you can visit this area just ...

I recently discovered there were many sites on the internet where you could get free samples of things or just free stuff! I thought this was a very cool thing as I am a very big fan of getting stuff for free so finding out that there were websites actually dedicated to this kind of thing was a big thing for me.
After a lot of searching and a lot of form filling in on a lot of different sites I came across this site freestuffuk.co.uk which I thought ... ...The first thing I was impressesd with on this site was that it was catergorised into things like food, cd's, magazines, health and beuty etc. Which many of the other sites I had been to did not do so this made navigating around the site alot easier.
Also another good thing was that it was a UK site so after getting to the bottom of some very long forms you didn't find a message saying "offer only available in the US" I also was very impressed with ...

When you hear the words FREE what comes into your mind?

Yes that is true free, free and more freebies are available at www.freeukstuff.co.uk. I first found this site whilst on ciao and I read some good reviews on this site from ciao and other web sites. So I thought if others have had a go why don't I have a go. Well I rushed myself over to FreeUkStuff and thought ... ...Why is this ? Because the front page of the site is quite boring, not to be offensive but it does not look that attractive to bring you in and see all them freebies they have to offer. | The Home Page |

I actually found out about this site due to mooching through Ciao comments. I have been visiting the site for about 3 months now and have been receiving regular goodies. I am slightly bemused that this site has received some negative comments, after all, whatever you recieve ... ITS FREE !!! So how can that be bad ?
Fair enough, there are some freebies that you will think "why do they bother ?" but on the other hand, another user could be thinking ... ...So I would advice having a mooch for yourself and wait to see what drops through your letter box.
My first (and only) bit of advice to you is to join the "members area". You can do this by simply filling in your name and e-mail address. You will then me sent a password that allows you to access the members only area. The benefit of this is that you can veiw the very latest freebies and get your request in before stocks run out. ...have been a member of freeukstuff.co.uk for many months now, signing up after doing a search for the words 'free' and 'stuff' - must have been bored that night - well, in was in the BC days, Before Ciao. Anyway, the result of my search was that freeukstuff emerged at the top of my list. Advantages: Stuff for free Disadvantages: Some old links and a elongated log-on system
Let’s face it, we’re a mercenary bunch here on Ciao. I know there are many reasons why we write reviews, but if we’re honest some of it has to do with the money you can earn. On a similar vein, I’m sure most people out there love to get things for free, I know I do!
So I trundled over to check out one of the many sites out there offering links to websites offering items for free. I chose one of the most popular, freeukstuff.co.uk.
The front-page ... ...site, where you don’t need to be a member, or the members only part. The difference being the offers that are displayed. The most recent offers are only displayed in the members only section, and don’t appear in the public site until 14 days later, by which time all the members have taken all the available free products!!! So, I’d recommend going via the members only site.
Surprise, surprise to access the members only section you have to register. ...

Advantages: Free products / samples; some of them quite good. Disadvantages: Potentially giving your personal details (name, address etc) away to all and sundry.
I visited this site having read a few 'CIAO' opinions on it and, having used the site, thought I'd write my own opinion...
Everyone usually likes recieving things, especially when they don't have to pay for them, and I'm no exception to this. I trotted off over to the site, and my first impression of it was, to be frank, that it was decidely amateurish. Still, determined, I proceeded to sign up for membership - this being the only way to gain access ... ...not, though, for membership to the site is free!
Having completed the registration process, which took only a few minutes, I was then 'invited' to download a rather nasty little program called 'Gator' - there are plenty of opinions on that seperate program out there, and it's proabably worth your while reading a few of those before you choose to download it. So having downloaded (or not as the case may be, the download is 'suggested' but is NOT ...

Advantages: Free, easy to navigate, fun Disadvantages: Some offers take a long time to reach you - but they do arrive eventually
Maybe I am easily pleased, but I am rather smug about all the things I have received for free at FreeUKStuff. OK, so they're not giving away £1,000s, but that is because they have genuine offers. You really get this stuff. Unlike most 'Free Stuff' sites, this is not US-based and the free things offered are available to the UK. Here is a list of the things they have sent in just the last couple of weeks :
4 free chocolates (no chance of getting fat!)
... ...- various weights (sent in a proper 'Do Not Bend' envelope)
Lynx razor (not for me, I hasten to add!)
Full box of Kleenex tissues
Whiskas cat food
Shaving oil
Post Office letter weighing device (very useful)
