Won the Auction for a Digital camera, but the camera was not available. About two months ago I entered the Fsauction site and made a bid for a Digital camera, my bib being for £99 plus £5 post and packing. The camera was being auctioned by Evesham Computers who are very well known and supposedly respected. Well - fsauctions used to be something completely different when i first used a computer then i went away for ages and it had changed - and the service had actually improved! Fsauctions has bases in america and the uk (more probably - but i dont pay much attention) which makes it easier as most of the things you can buy are priced in pounds when using the UK site - very useful for the novice like me who doesnt have bank facilities to swop to american ... I used the freeserve auction because I use Freeserve as my ISP. I loged onto this service to find complete listings, from the onset the site was user friendly well presented. I have now go on to buy 4 items from the web site. I was looking for something in particular on the internet(an old computer game that has een out of print for years) and this was one of the last places on my list to look...I found it almost immediately. I think this auction is good, it has lots of categories and lots of....well, lots! The only problem I found was that too advertise you had to be a credit card owner, and for some lots you had to have a credit card to bid. Other than that, it's very well set out, easy to find what you're looking for and easy to bid. Having given an initial £10.00 to them for the sign up commission deductions, I was committed to making a sell online! FREESERVE AUCTIONS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST AUCTION SITES THAT I LOOKED AT, PARTLY DUE TO THE FACT THAT I JOINED THE INTERNET WITH THEM.
