It works not by the traditional poisoning method, but rather it kind of over hydrates them, and kills them that way. This sounded ideal as i knew that they are in general starting to resist poisons. Advantages: Quick and easy to use.
Disadvantages: Bit pricey!
...same consistancy of baby oil.
The full marks solution is one of only two products currently on the market with cyclomenthicone, (a non insecticidal solution) and isopropyl myristate( which is a compound that promotes absorbtion into the skin), in them, thus ensuring that this solution is not harmful to skin or eyes.
This product is also demartologically tested.

My favourite is Full Marks solution as it seems to work the best and only has a 10 minute application time.
Full Marks solution comes in a Purple and white box and is available in 100, 200 and 300ml bottles. The 100ml bottle cost me £4.59 and is enough to treat two times.

Disadvantages: slippery, doesn't kill head lice and their eggs, hard to wash out
...why we decided to try Full Marks Solution.
Firstly, you can only use the solution if you find live lice on the head. Very hard to ascertain with long hair. My husband is in the army so his head is shaved and my eldest also has a number 2 shaved head so it wasn't too bad using the solution on them because you combine the solution with nit combing and that is how you eliminate the head lice.
