    I book holidays in england for for simple fact we have two dogs and would not dream of going on holiday and leaving them behind. I have looked on the internet at possibly every online holiday company in the uk and no-one comes close to HELPFULHOLIDAYS.CO.UK. Firstly there web site is extremely easy to understand, if you know where you want to go and what you want you just fill in a simple search form and send, within seconds depending on the speed of your computer you will have many of options of holiday places that suit your every need these can range from propertites that sleep two right the ... more

    With the wife deciding that we would go on holiday in Cornwall this year, I had no idea where to start looking. A simple search of holiday cottages in Cornwall brought up the name Helpful holidays.co.uk. The good thing that stands out with this company from the rest is that they only have cottages in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset. Don't think for one minute though that you have limited choice as there is a huge range of cottages from your 2 bedroom to 20 bedroom cottages available.     I checked availability of a cottage which had been shown as available for over a month, and was told that it was available and to book via the web site. I did this and received an e-mail confirming my booking. Over a day later, I received another e-mail saying that it was not available for the dates I thought I had booked. Needless to say the family was very annoyed. There was no apology, and the attitude was arrogant to say the least.     Disadvantages Disadvantages The cottage was overpriced & didn't match up to the description

    My husband & I booked a holiday with Helpful Holidays for ourselves & our 2 young children. The holiday cottage in Kellaton did not match up to the description on their website, the photos were clearly taken some years before. We were unhappy with many areas of the cottage - the oven hadn't been cleaned in months & set off the fire alarm every time we cooked. The back door had a big gap all the way round causing a terrible draft when sitting at the dining table. The worse point was that the boiler & washer/dryer were being run off 2 extension leads which we felt was extremely dangerous. On our ... more
