    I absolutely hate questionnaires and personality profiles where you’re constantly asked to list your hobbies – I mean I’m not exactly the kind of girl that has any real passions in life or anything like that, I’m not mad about reading, nor do I follow any sports like a religion and I’m not blessed with culinary skills!     If you are thinking about booking a package holiday, or are about to book one, then it might be worth your while taking a look at this website. Even if you have already booked, it may still be of interest to you, but only if you are prepared to read reviews of your chosen destination/accommodation that you may not like ! It may be a case of shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted ! The site consists of 2 main things : A database of over 25 000 holiday reviews by ordinary holidaymakers.     I came across this web site quite by accident - I was surfing the World Wide Wait for information on Mallorca as I was in the process of researching my package holiday prior to booking (see seperate opinion on Thomson holidays). Here was a sight for sore eyes! A web site that provides good, honest info on resorts and accommodation. The site is simply laid out, with hyperlinks to relevant destinations.     This is a great site for discovering the truth about certain apartments and hotels. It is a site for anyone who has been on a holiday to write a review on what they really thought. All you do is click on the link to enter the site,there you will see reviews on The Canary Islands, hopefully mine is there, I did a review on a Tenerife hotel, you don't get paid, it's just to help others make a decision. There is also a section on the Balearics featuring Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza. There is plenty of choice on Greece and Spain.     Holidays uncovered is one of the best, holiday help web sites that I have had the pleasure to discover. It gives individuals the chance to read other peoples opinions on holidays which they have taken. In many cases it gives you the pros and cons about hotels,apartments,resorts etc. This web site is not run by big holiday companies, so there are no flashy pictures, and no booking facility's. it does include a good assortment of search engines if you want to go that little bit further.     www.holidays-uncovered.com is one of the best websites on the net and along with this site, I am totally addicted and have to look everyday to see if any new relevant reviews have appeared. Holidays uncovered enables ordinary folk just like me and you to share our holiday experiences and hopefully enhance someone else's decision on this summers getaway. Originally i come across this website whilst searching for information on my holiday for this year. It was hard to find anything on Kardemena but this site had many reviews which made me feel very happy about my choice. Every review is honest ... more

    Holidays Uncovered is an internet site which offers consumer reviews on packaged holidays and hotels. In some ways, it is similar to TripAdvisor, but I would say the content generally is of a much lower standard, although the range of reviews is enormous, and there are very few corners of the earth untouched! The design of the site is an aggressive holiday orange colour, but it's easy to navigate, and the pages load up quickly so it's not frustrating like sites with presumably higher traffic.     Where best to get real holiday information than from those who have little to gain from telling little white lies. My first choice for information on places I wish to go for my holidays is http://www.holidays-uncovered.com; Why! Simple! Its information from those who have actually been there and who are genuinely either enthused or otherwise by the place. Age groups are given so that you can judge whether the info is akin to yourself or not, but generally you can always get a good feel for the kind of resort the reports are written about and the accommodation.     Holidays Uncovered now forms an essential part of the process I undertake to select every package holiday I book. The brochure is always biased and I also find that the magic under-the-counter 'gazetteer' is very subtle in making any criticisms. The 'gazetteer' by-the-way is the so-called independent guide that travel agents keep hidden from us public.     i have found the site of holidays uncovered when booking holidays as i have two children and need to know what is going to keep them occupied whilst in a resort,we are just back from cyprus and without the help of holidays uncovered i dont think we would have found the hotel with the best facilities for ourselves.i find it very informative pointing out the good and bad ,if there is anything against the hotel it will tell you full details and to be told the truth makes a nice change? i do tell my freinds to use the site before booking i think a lot of companys could learn from your frank site ... more
