~Do You Want To Get Hot With Hotmail?~

Advantages: The Newsletters Are Really Good, And The Themes.
Disadvantages: none

Welcome to my review about an email that I use it is hotmail.com, in this review you will find out about the versions, how to use it, what colours can you put for your mail and many many more. Lots of people use windows live hotmail, and I use it too, so I thought to write about it, I've been with windows live hotmail for years. So I should know enough to tell you about the site. I have two emails and I both use them for writing messages to my friends, ...
...easy to use you can find everything what you want to do except two things there isn't the button mark as read and you can't know if you have completed this survey, but you can know if you replied to the message. Windows live hotmail has lots of interesting things which I can write about. In my last review I started writing about manutd.com. Manutd.com is in the Internet section and I now I'm glued to the internet section in free email. ===Signing ...

Hotmail.com

Advantages: Great reliable service which is free and available to all!
Disadvantages: Junk mail!!!!!!!!!

Hotmail.com About: Hotmail.com is a free email server website, which really is free to use, no spam, no pop-ups and no spyware is added to your computer when you sign up, as the server (now) runs from Windows Live and Windows Live Messenger, making it safe to use on all computers, and compatible with all other email servers. Hotmail is the most popular free email server in the UK (and as far as I am aware in America too), and along with the BTinternet, ...
...one you see the most. The email server can be as anonymous or as open as you like (though anybody thinking of using it for scamming or bullying or anything stupid like that, be warned, your I.P. address is stored at all times, so you are never 100% anonymous, and all reports to police or hotmail itself will be investigated), meaning that your privacy can be protected. Hotmail was launched in 1996, as “HoTMaiL” (the capitals and name referring to ...

Blowing hot or cold?

Advantages: Roaming access, no/little downtime
Disadvantages: Slow connctions, spam,

There can't be too many internet users who haven't heard of Hotmail. Microsoft's free web-based email system has been around for years and has its fair share of supporters and detractors. I've had more than a few Hotmail accounts over the years since I went online which have been used for a variety of reasons. The main reason a Hotmail account was created at all was to protect my own personal email account from spam. By using a free web-based email ...
...chosen any web-based email for this purpose and Hotmail aren't the only people who offer such a system - you can get one from YAHOO or Lycos, for example. In fact, the reason I chose Hotmail over anything else was the fact that it was simply the most famous - the decision (which was made over four years ago!) was not based on anything such as site features, inbox size or any other criteria you might have expected. Signing up with Hotmail is simplicity ...

A lovely little free email

Advantages: Fast,reliable and fun.
Disadvantages: Too many junk emails sent to you

I have had my Hotmail Email account for two years now, infact i have 2 accounts.I've always been quite pleased with the level of service and speed of arrival of incoming mail.I only really have one gripe about Hotmail which led me to my decision to open another account. When i opened my first account i was very much an 'Internet virgin',i really had no knowledge online and i had to learn as i went so i used the very simple and easy to remember username/email ...
...mistake this had been when i was receiving all manner of spam including Porn links,Weight loss ads, book club offers,VIAGRA!(Do i look like a bloke?) and other crap on a daily basis which accounted for about 90% of the space i had.I was receiving about 90 spam Emails per day and it was of course all because of my simple to figure out Email address.OK, i'll now get down to the features of this FREE service. Hotmail is by far one of the best email ...

Does exactly what it says on the tin

Advantages: Is a quick and easy way to E-Mail
Disadvantages: Its very hard to get a correct username!

I only joined the vast community that is the sacred net. No longer the home of geeks and hermits, the WWW. world is welcome to anyone with a phone line and to be honest deep pockets (the company pays for ours, much to their annoyance). But prices are falling. But like the title, this isn’t about the net itself. I’d be here for ages otherwise! Nope. This is an op about MSN Hotmail.com. When I got the net a few months ago, I did the obvious ...

My brother is on hotmail and he recommended it, so I duly signed up my name and here is an op describing the ins and outs of the most popular E-Mail sites in the world… WHAT DOES HOTMAIL DO? The processes are designed to be easy to follow and good fun to use. There are many ...

Check Your Mail in Less Than a Minute

Advantages: Read opinion.
Disadvantages: Read opinion.

Hotmail is a site all about communication. Its main feature is a free e-mail account available to anyone on the internet. **Layout & Design** The main page is kept very simple. It is divided into town halves. The left hand side is dark blue. At the top, there is the MSN logo, of a colourful butterfly. Next to this, it says 'Hotmail' in white print. Below this, there is a brief description of what the site allows you to do. 'Now MSN hotmail gives ...

At the very bottom, there is some information about msn Broadband, one of the many features of hotmail. On the ...

Good features, but lacking on space

Advantages: Good selection of features, and even advanced users are catered for
Disadvantages: Limitations on attachment size and account size. Also difficult to get a meaningful username

I first came across the Hotmail free email service last year, and I have been a member ever since. I followed the rather lengthy registration process, which asks you the usual array of questions regarding where you live in the world, and also tries to encourage you to signup to various “Junk mail” providers. These are definitely worth skipping. Unlike most people I have spoken to, I was also able to get a meaningful username, instead ...
...end, making it increasingly hard to remember for you and your friends. With its newly revamped design, the Hotmail site itself is now very feature heavy, something which more professional users with appreciate. The service supports the usual POP mail forwarding, which is very useful if you have ISP accounts which you want to check while away from home or on the move. The site is still quite slow, but not anywhere near as bad the snail pace I got ...

E-xcellent Mail

Advantages: Free, web-based, accessible from any computer
Disadvantages: Sometimes slow and a bit unreliable

Just recently, I decided I needed my own personal e-mail account. I have always used our family one, but circumstances dictated that I ought to get a private account of my own. It was also looking possible that I might end up moving house shortly, so I decided a web-based mail account would be just the ticket. I didn’t really look around very much. I went straight to Hotmail and signed up. But why Hotmail? Well, they are the most well-known ...
...Plus, a lot of my friends use MSN for Instant Messaging, and you have to have a Hotmail account to use MSN. So, that made the choice easy. I popped along to the website at www.hotmail.com and signed up. It was a simple job to register. RED HOT MAIL

Advantages: Quick, free, can be used anywhere, easy to use
Disadvantages: Spam, risk of hacks

My first ever e-mail address was a hotmail one. I was very new to the Internet, my parents had an e-mail address for family matter, but I wanted one to for all my private stuff, friends they would not approve of, etc. Being part of the Microsoft network, and one of the most popular web based e-mail places, I was brought in one shear brand name recognition. I can remember when I first got my hotmail, the thrill of having a new message, feeling important, ...

That was about two or three years ago now, at first I loved my hotmail account, then I went off it for over a year, before in the last three months coming back with a bang. I needed a private e-mail, not that I was doing anything dodgy or illegal, I just wanted to be able to contact my mates simply ...

Disadvantages: most names you want on it are allready taken

I have several email accounts but this is my favourite. To begin with I was overwhelmed by the amount of spam I was receiving, and no matter how many spam letters I blocked I still received TONs of junk!!! Often very pornographic and offering me Viagra!! This is very worrying if you have teenagers using these accounts. However they have made great efforts to improve the site, and since then I have had no more spam!! Thank god. The steps they have ...

Its easy to navigate, very straightforward and easy to download. My partner has additional accounts such as talk21, btinternet, and "Elvispresley.com" ...

The fallen service rises from the ashes

Advantages: Stylish new interface, much faster, can write formatted emails, address book and appointment functionality
Disadvantages: Almost all identities are taken due to the popularity of the service

I thought I’d never find myself saying this but Hotmail has evolved into an excellent service. At one point it was rubbish, slow, pointless which is why I started using Yahoo! Mail for my web based email – but it seems after just having signed up for another hotmail account after about two years the service has changed to no end! The first noticeable change is the interface. At one point, the Hotmail interface was not only ugly, but ...
...latest reincarnation of Hotmail: the whole service has been given a major aesthetic makeover, presumably due to the latest release of MSN Explorer (a browser) into which Hotmail is fully integrated. Nevertheless, the cool blues and smooth curves not only are a feast to the eyes but apparently do not slow the service down in the slightest (although in this day and age of broadband connections, that shouldn’t be a problem for many anyway!) The ...

The Great SPAM Collector in the Sky

Advantages: Free, effective
Disadvantages: SPAM prone

What’s the word that almost invariably pops into your head as soon as you hear the name HOTMAIL? Well, for most people, even if they’ve never actually had their own E-mail account with Bill Gates’ little spin off organisation, it’s inevitably SPAM – the popular name for unsolicited commercial E-mail – because invariably the thing that you’re bound to start collecting pretty much as soon as you’ve gone out and acquired your brand spanking new, all ...
...gills with unlooked for offers of Viagara, porno sites and/or get rich very, very quick schemes. I’m not quite sure exactly why Hotmail is so prone to the bane of every surfer’s very existence, but you soon learn that all sorts of unscrupulous souls the world over have a very nasty habit of trying all sorts of variation on the XXXX@hotmail.com theme and inevitably send their horrible little goodies thudding onto your cyber doormat, yearning to be ...

I Hate Hotmail

Advantages: A reasonable chat facility which is on offer from millions of amature sites.
Disadvantages: Slow, boring, spam mad, advert crazy, unconsistant site design, different names, loadsa passwords, hard to find unique user name, runs of Microsoft Interenet Explorer, Hard to back out off...all in all a disgrace for such a well respected firm.

Microsoft have really let me down. I first joined this because a lot of people at college use MSN, and so i could chat using the messenger service. Everyone was singing it's praises so I decided to give it a go. After trying for over 20 mins to find a user name nobody else had, I was finally able to join filling out a boring, bland application form. I use AOL and have always been v. happy with the e-mail, and ease of using it. I simply log on and ...

I work a lot with computers and so see a lot of that anoyingly bland Microsoft template (you know, the blue square one with the expand, ? and x in the corner) and have been reasonably happy with it. But give me strength, they have different sections for logging onto e-mail, MSN and messenger, and so I have about 7 different boxes popping up all over the place ...
