Yahoo briefcase is a feature you receive when you sign up to Yahoo! as a member. It's just like an extra hard-drive, in which you can store up to 30 Megabytes of data. That's more or less twenty one 1.44mb floppy disks! You can upload and download files whenever you want aslong as you don't go over the 30MB limit and you are able to make your files public, to let other people download them for viewing. However this brings about a disadvantage of Yahoo! breifcase, there is a bandwidth limit on your stored files. So only a few people may download from your briefcase in any one day. I discovered Yahoo Briefcase by accident and it is a wonderful tool. If you go into Google search engine and type in Yahoo Briefcase and then press I feel lucky, you will be taken automatically into the page where you can sign up for a briefcase of your own. This is a place where you can store things and share things with friends. In my briefcase for example, I have a song of Eva Cassidies which I have shared with people on Ciao who have never heard her sing, and I have a game called Aironix which is as addictive as anything. Yahoo Briefcase is a great facility Yahoo have and like there other facilities, it is used by many people so it is well recognised if you want to use it with other people. The one main benefit I have always found with Yahoo is that so many people use it so that means I will always have a common grounding on which can communicate, see and contact with other people. Yahoo briefcase is another of the excelent services yahoo offer. You atomatically get one when you are a yahoo member you just have to activate this. Yahoo briefcase can be used to store all your files you need to be portable between home office and friends you can access it anywhere in the world. Yahoo briefacse is ideal as there are so many more services you get when you sign up with yahoo briefcase. You get the options to build your own website. Also you get a free email address and you are able to store up to 6mb of space of messages. You also get the choice of partciapating in special services such as fantasy online football games. The great thing is the whole service is free. And once you have signed up for one you get the rest of them only having to choose weather you want them or not.
