All dog owners talk to each other about the cost of pet products and it is the little old dears who walk their dogs in my local park that know all the cheap places to buy these products.
Earlier this year I was complaining to one of the ladies about the cost of Frontline from my vet - I had just paid £26 for a pack 3 pipettes for dogs 10-20kg size. She told me about a company based in Middleton on Tees called Canine Chemists that sold pet supplies ... ...vet. She brought me a dog catalogue and I was truly amazed at the cost savings.

Advantages: Drugs for your dog (or cat) without a prescription Disadvantages: Doesn't have the vet's expertise
It's that time of the month (!) again - a scribbled note on my calendar says 'flea dog'.
Like many other dog and cat owners we've been sold on the effectiveness of Frontline Spot On pipettes, which we've previously got from the vets. This twice yearly ritual involves leaving work early to drive the long way round the one way system, parking in an impossibly small space, sprinting down the road to arrive red-faced and panting as the vet's is about ... ...of money for 3 teeny vials of stuff, with which we dose the dog to keep the nasty little jumping things off her, and by association, us. I had heard before that Frontline could be bought online, but only recently realised that to buy it you don't even need a prescription from the vet!
