I have only come across Kelkoo earlier in the year, as previosly I used Price Runner, but I prefer Kelkoo. The website is easy to navigate and more or less everything that I wanted to price check has been on there. There are loads of catergories and sub catergories.
There have been many times when I have checked the price of the item I was looking for, and there are usually a good variety of retailers, clearing showing what the price of the product ... ...because it has been listed on Kelkoo, and looked better or was cheaper. The website is so easy to use, even if you are not a regular internet user, it is pretty self explanatory, just go to the category and browse, or type in the make or model that you want to check. Here is another site I used when searching for a DVD! This is the first price comparison site I'd heard of, in fact I didn't even know they existed until I used Kelkoo. Although I was using it to find a DVD, Kelkoo offers price comparisons on many different products including savings accounts, power tools, contract phones and car hire. And these are just some of the many products you can compare on Kelkoo - each of these comes from a different category.

Quick review of kelkoo.com
Great for general goods simple and very easy to use. However when I searched for car hire I found it very confusing it did not give orice comparisons but a jumble of different prices and vehicles. I had received a very good quote from a company called carhireagency but it was not even featured.this company was easily found on the Internet but not on Kelkoo, How many other good companies are missed ...

Kelkoo, in theory, is a very good idea. It is a simple search engine which allows the user to find a product online. Basically what happens is the search engine then displays results, in a simular way to Google, showing all the websites that sells the product keyed in.
Next to each website listed it shows a picture of the product and how much the website is selling the item for. This website couldn't be easier to use, whats more there's no risk, ... ...One disadvantage I've found with using Kelkoo though is it won't display every single website that is selling the product. For example if I was looking for a Cd, I searched for Tiesto: In Search Of Sunrise 5. This is just a random such, although I am in to Tiesto. It displays 2 results, 1 for £10.79 from Cd Blah, one from play.com £11.99. However, if I then click compare prices again, it displays 2 more results. If it says this by the correct item ...

I have never found one online shop that is consistently the cheapest, so whenever I wish to purchase anything online, I always search for it through Kelkoo to find out who has the best price. Not all stores are on there, but it has a good range.
One annoying thing, is that you cannot ask for exact searches only, so if you are searching for something with a lot of similar matches, it brings out a lot of mismatches. When you have found the exact product ...

Well after hours of thinking what to buy my Mum for her birthday she decided to tell me at the last minute that she wanted a home office shredder so I thought right Kelkoo find the cheapest order it and get it in time for the big day, I was mistaken to say the least. Kelkoo only deals with a certain number of online shops (may i add the most expensive!!)I was given a list of some 20 or so shredders which was clear and further information on the products ... ...the prices and specifications which did take some time as it transfers you to the store in question. I was first informed about Kelkoo.com by a friend and decided to check it out - what a great move it was! You can guarantee that whenever anyone says to you "I have just bought a new DVD/game for my Playstation etc" and you ask them how much it was that it would have been much more sensible to use Kelkoo.

My dear daughter & hubby bought us a DVD player before Xmas,just for being Mum & Dad,Bless them. I didn't really want one as I like my video but was very touched.Then we bought the surround-sound to link up to it and that's when it all started.
I put on Braveheart and stayed on the sofa for the whole film,not me at all,usually pause a video 3 or 4 times.Next the search for DVD,s. Found Kelkoo on web and couldn't believe the prices,compared to shops.Ordered ... ...letterbox 3 days later.Was I impressed !(and it worked too). Always worry if something is too cheap,but the search on this site is brilliant.Bought a dvd rack to hold my treasures,but it's full up already,so need another.Have found films that I was sure wouldn't be there,as too old and boring,like me and hubby,but when they appeared for under £10,I was thrilled. I have to admit that i rather blundered onto this site - via DooYoo (sorry about that) - whilst trying to do a little price researching and checking out what everyone elses opinions are. They use it as there own price comparison site, so I thought......... well, why not?
But, i have to admit that, i was a bit shocked and disappointed at how limited the comparisons were ( at least for my product - the new imac with 17" flat screen). All they came ... ...John Lewis. But not one computer store or specialist outlet besides these. They also posted the cheapest price between these two, which are not the cheapest prices in the marketplace. There's not a huge difference, but it hardly works as a comparison price site if you have to do the research, to see if they're doing the research. I discovered Kelkoo.com several months ago by accident from a link from another site. Now it is one of my favourites. If you want to save money, I recommend that you give it a try. In fact, I would say before you make any major purchase, you should go to Kelkoo.com first.
So what is it and how does it work? Kelkoo is price comparison site, which is free to use. You don’t even need to register with them to gain access. You simply select the ... ...a Palm m505 and from Kelkoo.com I have recently seen prices ranging from £351 to over £400. You can guess which site I’ll be visiting.
The only minor complaint I have is in the name. It is not the easiest to remember, but this can easily be overcome by putting it in your list of favourites! ...

I've been consulting uk.kelkoo.com for well over a year now and, along with visiting ciao to check out the ratings, I wouldn't buy any product from the web until I'd had kelkoo check out some price comparisons for me.

Kelkoo is a really great concept! You simply enter the product you want in, and it finds the chepest price on the net! If only it were so simple, the reality however is not quite so good. Why shouldn't I rely on kelkoo.com? -Not all retailers are included, although the number is increasing. -Kelkoo doesn't give you any guarantee that the companies it finds are reputable, let alone whether you can expect good service. -There are not catagories covering ... ...unhelpful, especially the mobile phone section. -They are commercial and are therefore likely to be biased towards certain traders. -The prices it finds are not always accurate (ie. the company may have already run out of an item). -It doesn't check offline prices- for example, 'Radiohead- Amnesiac' was around £12-£14 on Amazon, BOL and Audiostreet- however, it was only £9.99 down at my local Asda (I know CD-WOW is £8-99, but I wanted a UK addition ...
