    Koptalk.com is a site with the latest news and gossip from Liverpool football club, whether the gossip is true or not it has it. It is a site that a Liverpool fan needs to check out, it has all the latest news from the first team to reserves and even reports on the future of Liverpool. It has excellent links with old reports on old Liverpool players, and what they are doing. I like to read about Rob Jones and what he is upto, he has a new update about every month, and you can read his reply to e-mails that people have sent in.     Okay, first things first - unless you are a Liverpool fan, this site is of no use or probably interest to you whatsoever. This site, created and maintained by Duncan Oldham, a fan, is a true labour of love. For an amateur operation the content, particularly the input from current and former players with the club is amazing. To those who aren't Liverpool fans, this is the kind of thing evry club should have.     As a massive Liverpool fan who no longer gets to go to the games, KopTalk.com is one of a number of websites that I reply on to keep me up-to-date with all the latest news from the greatest club in the world. I’d recommend this site to any fan of the club as some of the stuff you find on here, you can’t get anywhere else. Like most clubs’ sites, the index page provides all the latest news and gossip on the club. Liverpool’s next game is always previewed and the previous game is reported upon.     Koptalk is one of many unofficial websites dedicated to Liverpool Football Club, but is by far the best. It contains all of the usual features of a football website such as the lastest news, league tables and player profiles and loads more, but what is special about the site is the amount of dedication and hard work put into it (in fact I believe the person who runs the site works on it full time).     I was a member of this site for about 18 months, but left in December 2006. The site started off as a vibrant place with lots of good, knowledgeable Liverpool fans on it. There also seemed to be inside info on there, with news before it was available elsewhere. I can understand therefore why there are some old very positive reviews of this site. Unfortunately this is not the case any more. The site has gone down hill rapidly , as it became abundantly clear that all they did was get info from other web sites and pass it off as their own, or when not doing that they would make it up.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Costs money, lots of rubbish 'exclusive' rumours and stories sourced from members of the public, general content is copied from other sites

    As the title says, don't waste your money on a Koptalk membership. As a one time paid up member I know that the majority of the news is simply a cut and paste job from other websites and newspapers. The 'exclusive' content that you see advertised on the free site is posted on the forums voulentarily by people who claim to be 'in the know'. As far as I know none of these people are Koptalk employees and are not obliged to post anything, therefore it's a bit of a cheek to ask people to pay £30 a-year for access to the forum.     Koptalk is a well known scam site among Liverpool supporters. How it has remained active all this time is unbelievable. The warning bells will ring when you are asked to give a tidy sum in order to be a member of a VIP club, or some such nonsense, which purports to bring you 'insider' information about transfers etc from within the club itself. When you enter the insider section it is nothing more than a blog where people post wild rumours. I suspect that most of the posts are the work of the founder of the site who makes a tidy sum from gullible supporters eager for news about their team. No ... more

    Koptalk.com is an excellent football site for Liverpool supporters, with up to the minute updates it is really the place to be if you support Liverpool. You check the day’s headlines and newspaper gossip concerning the club. And importantly you can check out what other Liverpool supporter’s feel and think. All the time you may not agree with them. There are links to pages that are quite useful, for instance to ex-Liverpool players home pages, e.g. Rob Jones, Jan Molby. I visit this site daily and find it very helpful, and the site is fast.     KopTalk exists to dupe Liverpool FC fans into paying money in order to access non-existent "insider information". The only unique content you'll find on KopTalk is the ridiculous "transfer gossip" lies made up by the site's owner under his many aliases, often including malicious falsehoods about current LFC players. Other infamous KopTalk "services" include the sale of fake signed merchandise, and extremely dubious "charity" appeals. Liverpool fans should just add NewsNow's LFC news feed to their bookmarks (it's where KopTalk gets the vast majority of its stories from, anyway) and join one of ... more

    Avoid this site at all costs. This is a scam designed to ripp off Liverpool supporters by claiming to have inside information from Anfield, whiich they don't have. There have also been various illegal activity overthe years, such as selling fake merchandise, not registering for VAT, breaking copyright and taking pre-orders for £5 on a book that never will be written. As Liverpol supporter you should avoid this site because it supports The S*n.
