Advantages Advantages Offers an array of bets on all major sports events ~ absolute security & speed ~ User friendly site ~ 24/7 betting

Disadvantages Disadvantages Gamble you life savings away :O)

I enjoy watching & participating in most sports but even more so when I’ve had a little bet. I like a flutter no matter what, whether it is horse racing, football, golf, tennis etc. Since the introduction of the Internet gambling & betting sites have become very popular with the amateur, average & professional punter. Leading the way of course are the three main rival betting chains ~ Ladbrokes, Williamhill & Coral ~ Yet in saying that there are still several smaller betting sites that can still compete with the so called big boys ~ Sites such as Betfair.com, a unique betting site that allows ... more

Advantages Advantages Professional, easy to use, fast payouts

Disadvantages Disadvantages Its easier to lose than to win...sigh

I know nada about sport (no 'typical woman' comments please) but I do like to play casinos and poker online, and without a doubt the best all round site that I have found is Ladbrokes. There are plenty of varying deposit and withdrawal methods, when you deposit it goes into the main 'sportsbook account'. From there you can transfer easily between sportsbook, casino and poker accounts meaning you can keep money set aside specifically for poker etc and keep track at all times of how much you have in each 'account'. The poker is played in USD rather than GBP but everything is converted for you ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice casino and betting spreads

Disadvantages Disadvantages Little slow, but when the site was down on sat they gave everyone 10 pound for free¬!

Ladbrokes has a lot to answer for. It has generated high and low points for me personally over the last 6 months. Here I will outline what Ladbrokes.co.uk is all about and how I have used the site for online gambling over the recent months. BACKGROUND Ladbrokes is one of the ‘Big three’ betting chains in England, Coral and William Hills being the others. It went Online a few years back, but only this year has the site been fully functional and a serious alternative to the serious gambler. The site works fine on all the main browsers and loads very fast at off-peak hours. The main problem I ... more

Advantages Advantages Good odds on bets, easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages very slow in transactions and changing of pages.

I would not say that I am a true gambler, but I have been using Ladbrokes.com for about the beginning of March. I have found the web site to be very slow throughout the logging in, changing of pages, checking past bets whether settled or unsettled, and basically every thing else. The odds are quite good for the same bet in comparrison to other web sites. As the site is slow, by the time you have placed a bet which is live, the odds have often changed, sometimes for the better. The bets that are placed can range through all sports, the general election, does the Loch Ness Monster live or ... more

    Advantages Advantages ease of use

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some other bookies beat the odds this site offers

I do like to have the occasional flutter when i have some spare money, and a common website that i use is ladbrokes.com On the whole, Ladbrokes are very competitive with the odd's they offer, they can sometimes lag behind other bookies such as betfair, but on the whole they are very good. To add funds to your account, you can either use debit card or Paypal, both methods are instant and the money is available to gamble straight away. If you don't fancy paying online with your debit card, you can get a top up card in any of the bookies and top this up with cash. I have never tried this as i am ... more

Advantages Advantages Not a bad idea. Conveinient

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Too slow

Ladbrokes are the online bookies that I use. I dont know why though because they have one of the slowest loading site on the net. Its not my modem either because its slow at work too and they have ISDN. The site is hard to navigate. It also has an annoying bit of speech at the beginning that always say the same thing in a really bad sampled .wav file saying "for all your betting needs ladbrokes.com" The thing is, you need to go to ladbrokes.co.uk!!! The records kept on line with regard to your account and the recent winners and form are good and if you use it with an on line racing paper such ... more

Advantages Advantages Free Bets Available, respectable company.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slow website, poor odds.

I am one of those people that like a flutter, especially as the internet offers ways to bet without paying tax. I joined Ladbrokes as it is a respectable bookmaker on the high street and therefore presumed it would be online. I wanted to try online casinos, and with so many American online one's and other 'unheard of' casinos, I thought that Ladbrokes would be my 'best bet', excuse the pun. I have spent a few pounds within the casino to say the least and very rarely won much :( although I think I'm about even overall. The casino software is available to download, the basic version being around ... more

Advantages Advantages Inter net gamblig Tax Free, Can compare Odds Easily

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sometimes Can Be Slow, Make sure You Have Used Reputable Firms

I have been gambling for serveral years mainly on football in the high street where there is currently a 9% deduction - commonly known as Tax. In attempt to save this 9% tax I have used several internet firms and this is my advice on trying to make it pay. PICK A WELL KNOWN NAME = There are loads of firms out there the smaller less well known ones offer better odds but how reliable are they? will they pay? will they still be there? I have used LADBROKES.COM, EUROBET.CO.UK, BETDIRECT.CO.UK, WILLIAMHILL.CO.UK, STANLEYBET.CO.UK. they are all big and well known ther are others E.g. TOTE ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy betting at work

    Disadvantages Disadvantages ITs so slow

Why is it when ever I use Ladbrokes.co.uk it decides to run like a snail??? It is possibly one of the slowest sites on the web. Forget about running it from home on a modem. Its slow enough at work though the big pipes here. Obviously, speed must be sacrificed for security but this slow??? I might withdraw all of my winnings and go to play at billy hills!!!Does anyone else have a problem with it or is it just me??? Layout is a bit poor to. Not a lot of thought went into the design its very hotch potch. ... more

Advantages Advantages Big High Street Name

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor Design & Less than generous odds.

For me there is nothing so fine as the thrill of the chase - be it horses, dogs or even who is going to win the next X Factor - (well, we've gotta have some reason for watching it, right?) and online gambling fits neatly into my busy life. No longer do I have to stand around clutching my ticket in a grotty little betting shop, I can experience this thrill from my desktop dressed only in a pink dressing gown and fluffy slippers. Sadly ladbrokes.com just doesn't cut the mustard. Ladbrokes is a trusted High Street name but their website just doesn't do them justice. The first thing you will ... more
